DANGER –
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons. Misuse or failure to follow these warnings and instructions may cause overheating, fire, personal injury and/or property damage:
1. Be sure to read all instructions carefully, before using this heating product.
2. Do not use this heating product with an infant, child, or incapacitated or immobile person, paraplegic, or quadriplegic, a diabetic, anyone insensitive to heat, such as a person with poor blood circulation, or anyone who cannot clearly understand instructions and/or operate the controls.
3. Do not tuck in, pinch, flex, or expose the wired heating area of this heating product.
4. Do not route electrical cords between the mattress and box spring. Do not allow the cords to be pinched. Do not use with damaged cords. Damaged cords can lead to overheating or fire.
5. Keep the control away from drafty areas that may become damp or wet, such as open windows.
6. Do not use pins or other metallic means – they may damage the electric wiring.
7. Do not use if wet. If a spill occurs, turn heating product off, unplug, and dry before reusing.
8. Controller is not waterproof. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
9. Be sure that this heating product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage.
Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters.
10. Turn off or unplug this heating product when not in use.
11. Excessive heating may result from folding or bunching this heating product while in use.
12. Examine the heating product, cord, and controller before each use for signs of wear or damage. If improper operations, wear or damage is observed, discontinue use immediately and consult the manufacturer or the dealer regarding its repair.
13. Do not use with rocking chairs, recliners, chairs with casters or wheels, or other furniture subject to movement.
14. Do not use this heating product on a waterbed, bunk bed, mechanically adjustable bed or a child’s crib/bed.
15. Do not use in conjunction with another electrically heated product.
16. Do not tuck the heated wrap or supply cord or control in a sofa or other furniture. All portions of this heating product should be visible at all times.
17. Wrapping of cord around the controller may damage the cord. Loop loosely when storing.
Allow to cool before storing and do not crease by placing items on top of it. Store in the original packaging, in a cool, dark, dry place.
18. Do not dry-clean this heating product. Cleaning solvents may damage the insulation of the heating element. Improper laundering may cause problems with the heating wire, which can lead to a fire.
19. Keep all dogs, cats, and other pets away from this heating product. This is an electrical appliance that they can damage or be injured by.
20. If provided with a detachable controller, use only with the provided controller.
21. Do not use this heating product with analgesic creams, liniments, salves, or ointment preparations. Skin burns could result.
22. Check with your healthcare provider before using with a pacemaker or any medical devices.
23. Not for hotel, motel, hospital, or other institutional use.
24. Do not use the wrap when symptoms of appendicitis are present. Consult your physician.
25. Do not use wrap while consuming alcohol.
WARNING –
The Conair ® Heated Wrap is an electrical device.
To avoid electric shock:
1. Do not wash the unit with water. See washing instructions.

9. Not to be used by disabled, sleeping or unconscious persons.
10. Do not use with liniments, salves or ointments that contain heat-producing ingredients, as a skin burn could result.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USING THE HEATED WRAP
Remove the contents from the box. Attach the AC power cable to the power jack on the blanket.
Plug the cable into a 110-120V AC wall outlet. Press the (POWER) button on the controller to turn the heat on Low. The LED indicator will display the current heat level. Continue to press the
(POWER) button to increase the heat level up to Medium and High. Press the (POWER) button again back to the Low setting. To turn off, press and hold ON/OFF button until all lights turn off.
NOTE: The heat will automatically turn off after 2 hours; the green LED indicator light will keep flashing.
For the product to function properly, once the heat wrap has been disconnected from the controller, but the power cord remains connected to the electrical outlet, you must remove the plug from the electrical outlet before you reconnect the heat wrap to the controller, and then plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet in order to resume use. If you do not unplug the power outlet, the red LED indicator light will flash and the heated wrap will not work properly.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
NEVER dry-clean or use bleach. Disconnect ALL CORDS before washing. NEVER submerge cords or control unit. Place textile portion without cords in the washing machine.
HAND-WASHING
(Recommended)
Washing this item by hand will result in a much longer product-life than using a machine.
Disconnect all cord(s) and wash the textile separately by hand in lukewarm (100 °F) water, using a small amount of mild laundry detergent. Soak for 5 minutes, then gently work the textile up and down for more than 5 minutes. NEVER rub or scrub the textile. Rinse thoroughly in cool water until all traces of detergent are gone. Squeeze excess water out by hand, NEVER twist.
DO NOT use a wringer.
MACHINE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash as follows in automatic washer using slow agitation and normal spin speed:
Fill washer with warm water. Add minimum amount of all-purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve, measure heating pad before washing. Add heating pad and soak 5 minutes.
Agitate to dissolve, measure heating pad before washing. Agitate 2 minutes. Spin. Fill for cool rinse, agitate 1 minute, then spin.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
NEVER use commercial dryers at the laundromat, as they may be extra hot and could damage the wiring of the product. DO NOT iron. DO NOT plug in until completely dry.
To machine dry, place in automatic dryer on high heat for only 5 minutes, then line dry
(recommended). To completely dry, place item into a dryer on low heat and allow to tumble until dry. Ensure that the textile has enough room to tumble freely. If product draws during washing, gently stretch it while it is still damp until it returns to its original size. DO NOT iron your heated wrap.
To line dry, simply drape the item over two parallel clotheslines or a shower rod. DO NOT reconnect the item until it is completely dry. DO NOT use the clothespins that can pinch wires.
STORAGE
Unplug and store this item as you would any other bedding or linen, folded and in a dry place.
POLARIZED PLUGS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the
AC outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO DE LA ALMOHADILLA ENVOLVENTE TÉRMICA
Saque el contenido de la caja. Conecte el cable de alimentación AC al conector en el costado de la almohadilla envolvente térmica. Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente
110–120 V AC. Oprima el botón POWER en el control para encender la unidad a baja temperatura; el indicador LED mostrará el nivel de calor. Oprima repetidamente el botón
POWER para aumentar la temperatura a “MED” (medio) o “HIGH” (alto). Después de presionar el botón POWER tres veces, la temperatura volverá a “LOW” (bajo). Para apagar la unidad, mantenga oprimo el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS hasta que todas las luces se apaguen.
NOTA: El calor se apagará automáticamente después de 2 horas; el indicador LED verde seguirá parpadeando. Si el control se desconecta de la unidad durante el uso, deberá desenchufar el cable de la toma de corriente, volver a conectar el control a la unidad, y luego volver a enchufar el cable en la toma de corriente. Si no desenchufa el cable de la toma de corriente, el indicador LED rojo parpadeará y la almohadilla envolvente térmica no funcionará correctamente.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA
NUNCA limpie la almohadilla en seco o con cloro. Desconecte TODOS LOS CABLES antes de lavar. NUNCA sumerja el cable o el control en agua u otro líquido. Meta la parte de tela
(sin cables) en la lavadora.
LAVADO A MANO
(recomendado)
Lavar este producto a mano resultará en una vida útil mucho más larga que si se lava a máquina.
Desconecte todos los cables y lave la parte de tela por separado a mano en agua tibia (100 °F
/ 38 °C), usando una pequeña cantidad de detergente suave para ropa. Remoje por 5 minutos, luego mueva suavemente la parte de tela hacia arriba y abajo por más de 5 minutos. NUNCA frotes o restriegues la parte de tela. Enjuague bien en agua fría hasta que no quede ningún rastro de detergente. Exprima el exceso de agua suavemente con la mano. NUNCA tuerza la funda. NO use un escurridor.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LAVADO A MÁQUINA
Lave el producto como se describe a continuación, en una lavadora automática usando agitación lenta y velocidad normal:
Llene la lavadora con agua tibia. Añada una cantidad mínima de detergente multiusos y agite el agua para disolverlo. Mida la almohadilla envolvente térmica antes de lavarla. Coloque la parte de tela de la almohadilla en el agua y permita que se remoje por 2 minutos. Agite por 2 minutos. Centrifugue. Llene la máquina con agua fría para enjuagar, agite por 1 minuto, y luego centrifugue.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SECADO
NUNCA use secadoras comerciales (en la lavandería), ya que producen aire muy caliente y pueden dañar el cableado del producto. NO lo planche. NO lo enchufe hasta que esté completamente seco.
Colóquelo en una secadora automática y séquelo a alta temperatura por solamente 5 minutos; luego cuélguelo para que termine de secarse (recomendado). Para secarlo completamente en la secadora, séquelo a baja temperatura hasta que esté seco. Cerciórese de que hay suficiente espacio en la secadora para que el producto se mueva libremente. Si la almohadilla se encoge durante el lavado, estírela suavemente mientras esté aún húmeda hasta que vuelva a su tamaño original. NO planche la almohadilla envolvente térmica.
Para colgar para secar, cuelgue la almohadilla en dos tendederos paralelos o en una barra de ducha NO vuelva a conectar la almohadilla hasta que esté completamente seca. NO use pinzas para ropa, ya que pueden pellizcar los cables.
ALMACENAJE
Desenchufe el producto y guárdelo holgadamente doblado, en un lugar seco.
AVISO ELÉCTRICO
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, aquel enchufe se podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de corriente de tierra. Si el enchufe no entra en la toma de corriente, inviértelo. Si aun así no entra completamente, comuníquese con un electricista. No intente modificarla.
