Cable and Adapter Requirements:
8 Pin-DB9 conversion cables that comes with projector.
Notes for the Device:
Baud rate must be set to 19200 (factory default). See projector’s user manual for further instructions.
Serial communication:
Port Type: RS-232
Baud Rate: 19200
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: None
Pin Assignments Diagram:
Note: Captive screw connector may also be used as a serial connection by shorting projector’s (RTS/CTS) pin to
ground. If a communication problem exists, try grounding pin 5 (RTS/CTS) of the 8 pin together with pin 4, 7, and 8.
