Frequently asked questions

The HP-H SERIES dock leveler can handle a maximum of ± 12 inches of height difference between the loading dock and the truck bed.

The HP-H SERIES dock leveler is operated using a RAISE button on the control panel. To extend the platform lip, press and hold the RAISE button until the lip is fully extended. To retract the lip, press and hold the RAISE button again until the lip folds enough to clear the truck bed.

Always chock the truck's wheels or use a truck restraint before operating the dock leveler. Never remove the chocks until loading or unloading is finished and the truck driver has been given permission to leave. Keep hands and feet clear of pinch points and avoid putting any part of your body near moving parts.

Before performing any maintenance under the dock leveler, lock the electrical power source in the OFF position and lock the maintenance prop in the service position using an approved locking device. Always stand clear of the dock leveler lip when working in front of the dock leveler.
