To connect your REM-KIT follow the instructions below.
It is recommended that you turn the gas off to your appliance before installing the
REM-KIT.
STEP 1: Remove the large silver screw with a flat head screwdriver. Discard the screw.
STEP 2: Screw the solenoid into the opening to attach to the valve.
STEP 3: Connect wires from the motor to the wires on remote receiver (black to black
and red to red). Once the remote control is connected and working place the log cover
over the remote receiver.
**Place the battery
pack/log cover
towards the front
outside corner of the
fireplace.**
STEP 4: Turn gas on to the appliance.
Follow the instructions provided with your burner to re-light your pilot.
Once your pilot has been lit, to operate the remote control, follow the instructions inside the remote
control box.
