Technical Specifications
Warning: This player using a rationalize power on management mode. Before you press “ PLAY” to start play, you must be sure
that the power switch is on the “STANDBY” state. If you don’t use the player exceed 48 hours, please push the power switch to
the “OFF” state to save power and protect the unit; If you don’t use the player exceed one week, you should push the power
switch to the “OFF” state as well; Meanwhile, please take off the batteries to prevent battery liquid leak which will mangle the unit.
1) Please do not use the player with earphones while driving an vehicle or riding a bicycle. It's not only dangerous, but also
against the law. And please keep your volume down when crossing streets.
2) Connect the earphone with player before you turn on.
3) Turn-off the switch when the player is not being used.
4) Please do not expose to direct sunlight, heat sources or dusty areas and please keep away from water. Please use soft
wet-cloth to clean the dirty surface
5) Please do not cleaning the player with chemicals such as alcohol or thinner.
6) To prevent static, avoid the extreme dry surroundings.
7) Do not disconnect the player with PC while you are doing “ format “ or “ download’ file.
8) When you use this player as a USB stick, please always follow the correct operation method. Any misuse may cause file
lost.

Installation Instruction
Install the driver for Windows Operating Systems 98 SE. For windows Operating System ME/2000/XP or greater, you don’t
need to install the driver.
> When connect MP3 player to PC USB port, a window will pop-up with title “found a new equipment”, click “search
for latest driver”, then insert the installation CD into PC's CD-ROM drive, then click “next”.
> Select and click on the “install from a list or specific location”, then click on the “Drivers” folder in CD-ROM and
click “CONFIRM”. Pc will complete W98 installation automatically.
To use a battery
> Put an AAA alkaline battery (1.5V) into battery compartment, according to negative and positive.
> Switch the On/Off key to “On” and click » II to enter into the waiting the status

> Before operating, please make sure the player is power off. Connect the USB cable to the PC's USB port and
connect the other side to the player's port.

2.3 Remove USB Device
> Double click the mouse on the icon of Taskbar to remove the device safely
> Select “USB Mass Storage Device” item, then click “Stop” button. “Stop to Hardware Device” window will pop up
as below:
> Click “OK” button. When “Safe to Remove Hardware” window appeared, the Player can be removed from PC
safely.

Warning: An error might occur if remove the connection of the USB cable when transferring data; After data transferred and
“Safe To Remove Hardware” window appeared, the player can be removed from PC safely! While the USB cable is
operating, other keys on the player are unavailable.

3.2.STANDBY / OFF operation
Turn on: During off state, please press the power switch to STANDBY, and press » Il to enter MP3 stand-by mode.
Turn off : During MP3 mode, keep pressing » II for 3 seconds. The player will save files first and enter power stand-by mode.
Switch to “ OFF “ to turn the player off.
MP3 stand-by mode
Warning: Please don’t switch to OFF directly while in the MP3 stand-by mode or during playing music, otherwise, you may lose
the unsaved data.
3.3 MODE function set up
> On stand-by or play mode, continue pressing MODE key for 2 seconds. It will turn into set up mode.
> Push »1 or 1« to select music mode, record mode, set up, delete single file, memory, volume, press MODE to do the
required set up.
4 How to use your MP3 player
4.1 Play MP3 file
а) Оп the MP3 stand-by mode, press ?» II to play MP3 music. Re-press » II to be the Pause mode.

b) On the play mode or pause mode, keep pressing » Il for 2 seconds to return to MP3 stand-by mode. If re-press » 11, it will
repeat step “a”).
c) On the MP3 stand-by or play mode, press m1 or | «to select the next or last song
d) On the play mode, keep pressing » 1 or | «knob, to fast forward or fast backward.
e) On the play mode, press MODE knob to come in volume adjusting. Press VOL+ or VOL- to adjust volume; Press MODE to
exit.
f) On the MP3 stand-by mode, press » II for 3 seconds to save data and become power stand-by mode.
4.2 Voice recording Mode
а) On the MP3 mode or Voice stand-by mode, press A-B for 2 seconds to be in voice recording mode; Press A-B again to stop
recording; Press » II to playback the recorded data. Press > II again to pause.

b) On the voice recording stand-by or play mode, press » | or 1« to select the last voice file or next one.
c) On the stop mode, continues pressing |« or »! , to search the track what you want easily
d) On the Record playing mode, keep pushing »1 or |«, the file will fast forward or fast backward.
e) On Voice Recording stand-by mode, press » II for 2 seconds to come in Power standby mode.
4.3 Function set up
4.3.1 Sound mode set up
Press »or« to select Equalizer mode: Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic & POP. Press MODE key to save the selected EQ
mode.
4.3.2 Play mode set up
Hold »or « to select play mode.
Play mode including: Normal play, Repeat track, Repeat all, Shuffle, Shuffle-repeat

4.3.3 Contrast Set up
Play »1 or |« to adjust LCD contrast, Press MODE to save the setting that just selected.

4.3.4 Backlight adjustment
Press »| or | « to select the backlight set up.
The choices of backlight setting: 5secs, 10-secs, Always on, Disable. Press MODE to save the settings that just selected.
4.3.5 Auto-off setting
Play » 1 or 1« to choose the time of auto-off
The choices of power auto-off are: 1 min, 2 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, off. Press MODE to save the setting that just selected.
4.3.6 Recording Bitrate Setting
Press» | or 14 to choose the recording Bitrate: 8000HZ. 16000HZ. 32000HZ and 48000HZ. Press MODE to save the selected
Bitrate.
4.3.7 Language set up
Press »| or |«to choose the language Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English. Press MODE to save the selected
language.

Press »| or 1d to choose the music file, and press » key to confirm erasing or press MODE to exit.

4.7 A-B repeat mode
On MP3 playback or voice recording mode,
1) Press A-B/REC key to start A-B repeat as A point (start point)
2) Press A-B /REC key again to finish A-B repeat as B point (finish point ). The player will repeat the music from A point to B point.

4.8 Hold
On any playback mode, push Hold key per arrowhead direction to lock the player. On the hold mode, none of the function
except power STANDBY/OFF is can be used..
Lyrics:
This player supports the lyrics function with MP3 playback
Reminder:
1) Lyrics file format should be *.LRC
2) File name should be same as the song’s name
3) Lyrics file should be placed in the same folder of the song
USB mode
> Plug the player into USB connector of PC. The LCD will show related images.
> LCD screen displays corresponding icon only when there is file transfer between player and computer.
