Helping Hand Assembly Instruction Product No. 31390012 Contains: Fits: 3139012 Helping Hand 3136010 Carriage MR, S50 Helping hand is an accessory to Multirall™ overhead lift that facilitates the connection and disconnection of the lift strap from the Quick-release Hook mounted in the rail system. For complete instructions for assembly and use of Multirall™ overhead lift, please refer to the instruction guide, which can be downloaded at www.liko.com. Definitions Upper part Helping hand Measurements: Length: 134 cm / 52.7 inch. Rail Carriage Q-link Safety latch Lift strap Quick-release Hook 3EN690244 Rev. 1 ENGLISH Mounting the lift motor: 1. Place the lift strap with the Q-link in the Helping hand. Move the Helping hand with the Q-link towards the Quick-release Hook according to the illustration above. 3. 2. Press up the safety latch with the upper part of the Helping hand and connect the Q-link to the Quick-release Hook. After mounting, make sure that the lift strap with Q-link is securely attached to the Quick- release Hook (see illustration) and that the safety latch functions properly. Before lifting it is important to ensure that the lift strap is securely fastened to the Quick-release Hook. The Q-link must pass the safety latch on the Quick-release Hook and the lift strap must hang vertically before lifting begins. Helping hand Multirall™ overhead lift must not be left in the Quick-release Hook after mounting the lift strap. Helping hand is just an accessory that is used to facilitate the connection and disconnection of the lift strap and it must never be under load. Press on the back of the safety latch and unhook the Q-link from the Quick-release Hook. 4. Remove the lift strap and the Helping hand from the Quick-release Hook mounted in the rail. © Copyright Liko R&D AB 2017 1. Lower the lift motor to a Multirall™ overhead lift Trolley or other suitable location. Unload the lift strap by applying tension to the strap, while feeding out the desired length by pressing the button marked in the desired direction. NOTE - Make sure the spare part is mounted according to the assembly instruction. - Check all functions related to the changed spare part. - Repairs and maintenance may only be performed by personnel authorized by Hill-Rom and using original Liko™ spare parts.
