The embedded NIC port can be used for ISIS 5000 / 7000 connectivity if your Z420 is configured with the new generation V2 3.5GHz CPU. If you have the original generation 3.2GHz CPU, then you will need to use an add-in NIC HBA for ISIS connectivity.

The standard AVID memory configuration is 8GB (4 x 2GB) DDR3 1866 or 1600 ECC memory. You can also choose to use the optional 16GB memory configuration (8 x 2GB) DDR3 1866 or 1600 ECC memory.

The supported video cards are NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1GB PCI-e video board and NVIDIA K2000 2GB PCI-e video board.
