Please read these instructions before installing or using this appliance for the first time. These instructions must be followed for the safe installation of the radiator. Any
problem, fault or damage caused by the non-observance of these instructions will not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. This manual should be retained with
the appliance by the user for future reference.

The warranty of the heater will not cover any damage caused by non-observance of any of these
instructions.
The instructions should be retained for future reference. This guide must be kept and given to any new
owner.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be made by children without
supervision.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has
been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged
from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user
maintenance.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Please check that the voltage in the rating label fits the power supply.
The use of these heaters is forbidden in any area where there is a presence of gases, explosives or
inflammable objects.
Do not use this heater to dry clothes. Do not cover this heater or put objects in contact with it.
Neither the connecting cable nor any other object must come into contact with the hot unit.
Do not cover this heater at any time.
The air outlet at the top of the thermal radiator and the air inlet at the bottom are provided to ensure the
most efficient operation of the appliance. They also protect the heater from overheating; therefore, it is
essential that at no time are they covered.
This heater should be switched off at the isolating switch before any repair work is carried out.
The installation must be carried out in accordance with the current electrical regulations.
Should the heater be moved and reinstalled it is essential that the work is carried out by a fully qualified
technician.
The heater should not be installed just below an electrical socket.
The appliance must be installed in such a way that it is impossible for anyone using a bath or shower, to
touch the controls.
The heater is fitted with a flexible cable size 3 x 1.00 mm² for electrical connection. It may be used to
connect the heater to the fixed wiring of the premised through a suitable connection box positioned
adjacent to the heater.
The supply circuit to the heater must incorporate a double pole isolating switch having a contact separation
of at least 3 mm.
If the flexible power cable for this unit is damaged, it may only be replaced by a repair workshop recognised
by the manufacturer, as special tools are necessary.
This appliance must be earthed.
All models are supplied with an electrical interrupt cut-out. This will switch off the heater if, for any reason,
it overheats. Should the cut-out operate, turn the heater off and remove the cause for the overheating. The
cut-out will be reset automatically.
This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of the oil container are
only to be made by the manufacturer or his service agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leakage.
Regulations concerning the disposal of oil when scrapping the appliance have to be followed.
The presence of air particles of smoke, dust and other pollutants could, in time, discolour the walls and
surfaces around the heater.
CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must
be given when children and vulnerable people are present.

2.- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Open the package and check that it is the correct model and it is in good condition.
- To obtain optimum performances it is necessary to maintain a minimum clearance of 15 cm between the radiator and any
inflammable material as furniture, curtains etc.

Position and fix the brackets at the correct
distance from the floor. It is possible to use
the radiator as measuring unit by positioning
it on two polyester package elements and
placing two supports above as indicated on
the figure:

Mark the fixing points on the
wall using a pencil through the
two fixing holes in the square
brackets and perform
corresponding bores.
- The studs and screws to attach the
supports are in the accessories bag.
- Hang the unit on the hooks of the
brackets.
- By turning the screws, the metallic
square will go downwards, retaining the
heater. Repeat this on the other bracket.

3.- USING THE THERMAL RADIATOR
DIGITAL CONTROL WITH DAILY AND WEEKLY PROGRAMMING
LCD Display

program your device.
Mode Key-> Use this key to confirm
values and select the working operation
mode.
Navigation keys (+) y (-)

to turn on / turn off your device.
ECO Key -> Use this key to
select ECO Mode.
RBC models have built in an electronic thermostat with a sensibility of 0.1 ºC. It is possible to set temperatures with an
accuracy of 0.5ºC.

3.1. SWITCHING ON THE HEATER
Press the [On / Stand-by] key to turn on /off the unit.
When the device is active, the mode and temperature are displayed. During “Stand-by” the display shows the current time and
the day of the week.
Note: When the device enters “Stand-by” mode, 2 sounds of duration are output half a second. When the device is switched on, it emits a
sound lasting one second.

3.2. COMFORT AND NIGHT TEMPERATURES
2 different levels of temperature can be set:
- Comfort Temperature: It is the temperature used for Program, Pilot Wire and Comfort modes.
- Night Temperature: It is the temperature used for Night and Program modes.
The desired temperature can be ser pressing the [+] and [-] keys. The range of configurable temperature is 7ºC - 32ºC.
Note: Night Temperature must be below Comfort Temperature. For this reason, the Night Temperature can be set to a value between 7ºC
and the Comfort Temperature setpoint.
3.3. OPERATING MODES
An icon on the display indicates the current operating mode. Check the current illuminated icon in your display to know the
operating mode.

Pilot Wire Mode
Within this mode, the radiator is controlled by a remote-control unit.
1. Press the [Mode] key until the “Pilot Wire” icon is displayed.
2. Set the desired temperatures through the [+] and [-] keys.
The operating mode will be selected by the Pilot-Wire Control Centre.
The device operates with the most advanced “Pilot Wire” system with six commands, which allows the following functions:
Standby: Power off the heating element, the device remains active.
Comfort: Maintains the “Comfort” temperature set by the user.
Eco: Maintains the room temperature 3,5ºC below the “Comfort” temperature.
Frost Protection: Fixed 7ºC are set.
Eco-1: Maintains the room temperature 1ºC below the “Comfort” temperature.
Eco-2: Maintains the room temperature 2ºC below the “Comfort” temperature.
Comfort Mode
The "Comfort" mode maintains the room temperature to the selected value. To set this operative mode:
1.
Press the [Prog] key until the display shows the “Comfort” icon.
2.
Set the desired temperature trough [+] and [-] keys and wait until the displayed temperature stops blinking.
Night Mode
The "Night" mode sets a value of temperature below the "Comfort" temperature value. It is suggested to set this operating
mode during the night or when the room is not occupied for 2 or more hours.
1.
Press the [Prog] key until the display shows the “Eco” icon.
2.
Set the desired temperature trough [+] and [-] keys and wait until the displayed temperature stops blinking.
Frost Protection Mode
In “Frost Protection” mode, the temperature is fixed to 7°C. The device activates the heating element when the room
temperature falls below 7°C. It is suggested to set this operating mode when the room is not occupied for several days.
1.
Press the [Prog] key until the display shows the “Frost Protection” icon.
ECO Function
This mode lowers the set temperature 3ºC regardless of other radiator settings.
1.
To activate / disactivate the function, press the dedicated [ECO] key. ECO icon is displayed.

Program Mode
In this mode, the ambient temperature is maintained at the comfort level or at the Nightly level according to time slots
programmed as desired by the user.
1.
Press the [mode] key until the corresponding icon appears on the display.
2.
Press [Clock] key to choose P1, P2, P3 programs.
Note: To modify pre-set programs P1, P2 or P3, see 3.5 Programming.
3.4. ADVANCE FUNCTIONS
Keyboard Lock
It is possible to lock the device to the "On / Stand-by" key to avoid improper or involuntary use, such as protecting children or
in a public space.
To turn on / off the keypad, press the [mode] key for 5 seconds. Keyboard lock icon is displayed.
Timer 2h
The "Timer 2h"mode can be used to quickly warm up the room or to speed up.

Press the [Mode] key until the display shows the "2h” icon.
The device is activated at the maximum power for 2 hours, up to a maximum radiator temperature. The “Timer-2h” mode is
automatically deactivated after a period of 2 hours returning to program mode. The user can switch to another operative mode
at any time by simply pressing the [Mode] key.
Adaptive Start Control
This function, if activated, will turn on the radiator in advance of the programmed (Max 2 hours) to ensure that the room has
reached the desired temperature at the set time.
Note: The function takes at least a couple of days to reach maximum efficiency.
Open Window Detection
The “Open Window Detection” function enables detecting of an open window by sensing a sudden decrease of the
temperature in the room. In such a case, the device deactivates the heating element for a maximum of 30 minutes until at which
point the radiator will resume to operate in the previously set state.
When this function is enabled, the “Open Window” icon is shown on the display. When the device detects that the window is
potentially opened, the “Open Window” icon starts blinking. When the function is disabled the “Open Window” icon is not
shown on the display.
3.5. PROGRAMMING
Day and time setting
1.
Activate "Stand-by" mode and press the [clock] key for more than 5 seconds to enter configuration menu.
2.
With the [+] and [-] keys, scroll through the menu to the Time function, press [mode] to confirm.
3.
Day: The word "day" blinks for 2 seconds, with the [+] and [-] keys select the Day and confirm with the [mode] key.
4. Hour: Use the [+] and [-] keys to select the time and confirm with the [mode] key.
5. Minutes: Use the [+] and [-] keys to select the minutes and confirm with the [mode] key. When finished, the device
will exit the programming menu.
Program setting
Pre-set programming P1, P2 y P3 used in program mode can be modified by the user.
1.
Activate the "Program" mode using the [mode] key. Press the [Clock] key to choose which of the programs P1, P2, P3
to set.
2.
Hold the [Clock] key to set the time sequence.
3.
Now a time sequence can be set for each day of the week. It starts with day 1, the time zone is displayed, the desired
sequence is selected with [+] and [-] keys. For each hour, the “Comfort” temperature (2 displayed bars) can be set by
pressing [+] key and the “Night” temperature (1 displayed bar) can be set by pressing [-].
4.
Press [Mode] to confirm the first day setting and enter next day programming.
5.
Repeat the same procedure for the remaining 6 days of the week.

Advance function activation: Open Window Detection and Adaptive Start Control
The user can activate or deactivate these functions as follows.
1.
Activate the stand-by status and press the [clock] key for more than 5 seconds.
2.
With the [+] and [-] keys scroll the menu to the "Func" function and press the [mode] key to confirm.
3.
Open Window Detection icon is displayed. Press the [+] or [-] key to activate or deactivate the open window
detection function. Press [Mode] key to confirm.
4.
Adaptive Start Control icon is displayed. Press the [+] or [-] key to activate or deactivate the adaptive start control
function. Press [Mode] key to confirm and exit programming.
4.- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The radiators do not precise any special maintenance providing thermal comfort during large periods. Clean dust with a dry,
soft cloth only when the unit is disconnected and cold.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
This thermal radiator has been manufactured under an assured quality system using environment friendly processes.
Please take the heaters to a clean point once their useful life is finished, in order to recycle their materials in the right way.
5.- TROUBLESHOOTING
The thermal radiator does not heat.
The room does not reach the required
temperature.
The display shows an error message
Check the heater or the air inlets are not covered.
Check the selected temperature is in accordance with the desired
temperature. Maybe the room needs more heating power.
Contact the after sales service.
The keyboard does not respond.
If the display shows the key lock icon, the keyboard is locked. To unlock it,
press the [Mode] key more than six seconds.
