MODULATION MACHINES

CHORUS Features five distinct modes to cover all the classic chorus sounds, from the variable-clock warmth of the dBucket, Multi, and Vibrato modes to the crisp and clean 80s sounds of the Digital and Detune modes.

FLANGER Six different modes deliver a historic catalog of flanging tones. Choose from the color-coded Silver, Grey, and Black modes for vintage tones or explore the days of tape flanging with the Zero+ and Zero- modes.

ROTARY The Rotary machine captures the sonic swirling complexities of a variable horn and drum rotary speaker. A variety of parameters let you shape the system’s sonics and mechanics.

VIBE The Vibe machine lives and breathes with a warmth and depth that discerning vibe fans will appreciate. Control over waveshape symmetry, low end response, and headroom allow for precise adjustments.

PHASER The Phaser machine’s modes ensure that you’re able to dial in chewy 2,

4, and 6 stage phasers as well as swirly 8, 12 and 16 stage phasers. Each mode was painstakingly tuned for optimum sonic performance.

FILTER The flexible Filter machine gives you Low Pass, Wah, and High Pass filter modes with resonance control and a host of cool waveforms, including envelope control to allow for soothing sweeps, funky wahs, and more.

FORMANT Say What? The Formant machine does the talking for you. It provides hours of fun as a host of selectable waveforms ctontrol the selected vowels. Select random vowels and who knows what it’ll say next?

VINTAGE TREM The Trem machine provides three historic tremolo sounds. Choose the rich complexity of the Harmonic tremolo, the soothing pulses of the Tube tremolo, or the surf and spy sounds of the Photo tremolo.

PATTERN TREM The Pattern Trem allows you to sequence up to eight subdivisions for some unique rhythms. Choose from a variety of waveforms such as sine, saw, and more. Re-trigger the pattern anytime with the tap switch.

AUTOSWELL The Autoswell machine goes beyond the typical ‘volume swell’ effect, giving you four different types of swell curves to choose from. The Depth knob can be used to dial in a chorus/vibrato effect to the swelled signal.

DESTROYER Combines bit-crushing, sample-rate reduction, and filtering alongside vinyl scratches and warps. From an old-timey 78 record to videogame nostalgia, the Destroyer has the power to muck things up just right.

QUADRATURE The Quadrature machine is all about signal corruption. Choose from AM,

FM, or Frequency Shifting to go where few have gone before. This mode is highly flexible with a variety of waveshapes to modulate the modulation.

Global settings affect Mobius regardless of what preset is currently active. To access the GLOBAL menu, push and hold the VALUE encoder. Turn to select the global setting.

Push again to edit the selected global setting. Hold again to exit the GLOBAL menu.

BYPASS: Select TRUEBYP to bypass using true bypass relays. Select BUFBYP to bypass using our high quality analog buffer.

NAMES: Set to ON to show the first six characters of the preset name. Set to

SCROLL to scroll the preset name across the display when it is first selected. Set to OFF to only display bank number.

BPM/HZ: Sets display to show tempo in BPM or Hz.

CONTROLS

VALUE: Turn for fine adjustment of LFO speed when speed is displayed.

Scrolls through presets when bank or name is displayed. Push to access the PARAMETER menu, hold to access the GLOBAL menu.

SPEED: Coarse adjustment of the LFO speed. For fine adjustments, use the Value knob while speed is displayed.

STEREO/PRE/POST (rear panel): Choose between stereo in/out or utilizing the built-in effects loop via pre/post mode. See manual for details.

DEPTH: Sets the modulation depth for the current modulation machine. TIP: Depth, like other Mobius parameters can easily be controlled via an external expression pedal.

TYPE: Turn to select desired modulation machine. Push to toggle the display to show

BPM or the current bank. Hold to save current preset.

LEVEL: Adjusts the output level from -3dB to +3dB. Set to 12 o’clock for unity gain. TIP:

Use to accomodate for any changes in signal level or to push the front end of an amp harder.

A, B, & TAP LEDS: Green if active. Amber if the preset has been edited. Off if bypassed.

Tap LED turns amber if current Tap Subdiv is not Quarter Note.

PARAM 1 & 2: Assignable to parameters for the current modulation machine. To assign, choose the desired parameter, press and hold value encoder while turning a PARAM knob.

A & B FOOTSWITCHES: Press to engage or bypass a preset of the current bank. Press A

& B to select a lower bank. Press B & TAP to select a higher bank.

TAP: Tap to set LFO speed. Press once to sync LFO for Phaser, Filter,

Formant, Pattern Trem and Quadrature. Can be assigned to tap or speed for Rotary.

Each Modulation machine features both UNIQUE and COMMON parameters in the PARAMETER menu to tweak and customize your sound. All can be saved per preset. Several

COMMON parameters are shown below.

NAME: Allows editing the name of current preset. Use TYPE encoder to select a character. Use VALUE encoder to change the selected character. Exit by pressing the

VALUE encoder. Hold the TYPE encoder to save the name.

SPEED DEPTH LEVEL

PR/PST (PRE/POST]: If using pre/post setup, this selects whether the effect in the preset is pre or post the effects loop.

EP (EXPRESSION PEDAL ON/OFF): Configures expression pedal to be on or off.

EP SET: Set up knobs to be controlled by an expression pedal. While HEEL is displayed, turn knobs to select minimum settings to be controlled. While TOE is displayed, turn knobs to select the maximum settings to be controlled.

TAPDIV (TAP DIVISIONS): When tapping tempo, BPM can be set for Whole, Half,

Quarter, Dotted Eighth, Eighth, Triplets, or Sixteenth notes.
