• Do not move this safe using its handle. The
handle should only be used for opening and
closing the door of the safe.

accidentally be locked inside the safe.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
You must first install the batteries which are
located in the front protective Styrofoam.
This safe uses 4 - AAA batteries. Under normal
use, batteries will last about 1 year.
NOTE: Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable
batteries.
NOTE: When changing or installing the
batteries, do not pull on the wires. Doing this
could cause the power supply to become
disconnected from the lock.
NOTE: If the batteries are low, the yellow light
will flash when you press the scanner.

To replace the batteries, remove the lock faceplate
by pressing the tab and turning the cover as shown
in the illustration below.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Open the battery compartment located on the
back of the lock faceplate. See illustration below.
After batteries are installed, reattach the faceplate
by twisting it on in the opposite direction of the
illustration on previous page.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
When you first receive your safe there are no
recorded fingerprints. For security you must
record a fingerprint. Failure to do so will
compromise the safety and security of the safe.
You can record up to 20 different fingerprints for
opening the safe. For best results, each individual
should use their thumb or index finger only.
To record a fingerprint, first press the Reset Button on
the inside of the safe. The scanner will turn blue with
two beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the green
light flashes twice, you will then record the same
finger three times as follows:
1. Place your finger on the scanner until there
is one beep (if the sound is turned on) and the
green light flashes once. Lift your finger off
the scanner.

2. Place the same finger on the scanner for a
second time, holding the finger in the same
position until there is one beep (if the sound is
turned on) and the green light flashes once.

NOTE: The red reset button located on the
inside of the door, is covered with a removable
red cap. When you use the red reset button
while setting your own combination, remove
the cap to access the button.
Replace the cap securely over the reset button
after setting your combination. Failure to do
so will compromise the safety and security of
the safe.
3. Place the same finger on the scanner for a
third time, holding the finger in the same
position until there is two beeps (if the sound is
turned on) and the green light flashes twice.
Lift your finger off the scanner. Your fingerprint
is now recorded.
SCAN THE SAME FINGER 3X
If the red light flashes three times with three beeps
(if the sound is turned on) your fingerprint did not
get recorded and you will have to start over.
If you enter more than 20 fingerprints, the red light
will flash 5 times and there will be 5 beeps
(if the sound is turned on).
NOTE: In certain dry climate conditions, your
fingerprint may not scan. If your fingerprint did not
scan, we recommend moisturizing with minimal
lotion and trying again.

OPENING THE SAFE USING YOUR
FINGERPRINT
To open the safe, press the scanner with a recorded
finger. The blue light will come on with one beep (if
the sound is turned on) and the scan will begin.
If the green light flashes twice with 2 beeps (if the
sound is turned on), the scan has been accepted and
you will have 5 seconds to turn the handle to open
the door.
CLEARING THE MEMORY
To clear the memory of all recorded fingerprints,
locate the reset button on the inside of the safe and
press this button for about 5 seconds until the green
light flashes 10 times with 10 beeps (if the sound is
turned on). All recorded scans will be erased.
NOTE: For security you must record a
fingerprint. Failure to do so will compromise
the safety and security of the safe.
If the red light flashes once, the scanner did not read
your fingerprint and you must try again. If the red
light flashes 3 times, the scanner read your fingerprint
and did not accept it.
If there are 3 rejected scans, where your
fingerprint was read, and the red light flashes 5
times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on),
you will have an automatic lockout for 60
seconds before you can try a scan again. The
safe will beep one time (if the sound is turned
on) and the green light will flash once when the
lockout period is over.
If there is 1 more rejected scan where your
fingerprint was read and the red light flashes 5
times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on),
you will have an automatic lockout for 5 minutes
before you can try a scan again. The safe will
beep one time (if the sound is turned on) and
the green light will flash once when the lockout
period is over.
TURNING THE SOUND OFF/ON
Your safe comes with the beep sound turned
on.
To turn the sound off, press the scanner with a
recorded fingerprint for 10 seconds until the green
light flashes twice.
LOCKING THE SAFE
To lock the safe, close the door and rotate
the handle counter clockwise until it stops. If
the handle is not turned until it stops, the
locking mechanism will not lock.
NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE: Because the
locking mechanism is deactivated for approximately
3 to 6 seconds after the fingerprint is entered, wait a
minimum of 6 seconds from the time the
combination is entered to lock the safe.
SELECTING A LOCATION
The safe must be mounted to the floor. For
optimal safety and security, the safe should be
installed adjacent to a side wall with minimal
space on either side of the safe, in an isolated,
dry and secure area.
The safe should be flat against the wall and floor.
Remove the baseboard if necessary.
CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY WITH
OR AROUND THE SAFE AT ANY TIME.
To turn the sound on, press the scanner with a
recorded fingerprint until you hear two beeps and
the green light flashes twice.

BACK UP KEY
SECURING THE SAFE
NOTE: The safe must be secured to the floor.
Use the hardware provided or consult your
hardware retailer for fastening hardware for your
particular mounting surface.
NOTE: This safe must be mounted to the floor.
Failure to do so will compromise the safety and
security of the safe.
Mark the holes to be used. Drill the appropriate
diameter and depth of pilot holes depending
on the type of hardware being used and the
type of mounting surface.
A "Back Up Key" has been provided in case the
batteries run low. If you lose your key, you may
purchase a replacement key be referencing the serial
number located on the back of your safe or the front
lower right corner. See section regarding
replacement keys for further information.
1. Remove the cover by pressing the tab and turning
the cover as shown in the illustration. The lock can
hang by the connecting cable while unlocking the
safe.
Secure the safe with the fasteners.

2. Insert the key in the key hole and turn clockwise
1/4 turn (until stopped) in order to unlock the safe.
Rotate the handle and open the door.
3. Keep the door open until you have entered a new
security code. Before entering your new code,
remove the key and screw the cover back in place.

INSTALLATION OF SCOPE STAND-OFF
NOTE: The scope stand-off will function properly
for many combinations of guns with scopes.
Screw the scope stand-off into the pilot hole of the
barrel rest.
DOOR ORGANIZER
A door organizer is included with this safe. The
top tray of the door organizer can be adjusted by
removing the two screws and relocating the tray.
MAINTENANCE
Do not use glass cleaners or sprays on this safe.
Clean with a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT
Keep keys in a secure place, away from children. Keep this
record of your serial number and key number in a secure
place separate from your safe.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE
(Valid Only for Purchases in North America)
If your Stack-On Fire Resistant Steel Safe suffers damage due to theft or fire at any time while still owned by the original
owner, Stack-On will either repair or replace (at Stack-On’s discretion) your safe free of charge. If Stack-On chooses to repair
the safe, such repair work may be performed by a local technician approved by Stack-On. Depending on the extent of the
damage, Stack-On may require the safe be returned to the factory for repair. If the safe is so returned, Stack-On will pay the
freight to the factory as well as the return freight. If the safe is replaced, Stack-On will pay the freight. This guarantee does not
cover labor costs for removal or installation of the safe and its contents. Any repair, dismantling, or tampering undertaken
without the prior written approval or direction of Stack-On will nullify this guarantee. Personal property in the safe is not
covered under this guarantee.
In addition, Stack-On Fire Resistant Steel Safes are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long
as the original consumer owns the product (unless shorter periods are provided below). Locks and paint are warranted for a
period of five (5) years from the date of original consumer purchase. This warranty extends to the initial consumer only. If you
believe there is a defect in material or workmanship in your Stack-On Fire Resistant Steel Safe during the warranty period,
please contact our customer service department at the address and in the manner set forth below. If Stack-On is properly
notified during the warranty period and, after inspection confirms there is a defect, Stack-On will, at its sole option, provide
repair parts or exchange the product at no charge, or refund the purchase price of the product.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
La primera vez que recibe su caja fuerte no hay huellas
dactilares registradas. Para mayor seguridad se debe
registrar una huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.
Puede registrar hasta 20 huellas digitales diferentes para
la apertura de la caja fuerte. Para obtener los mejores
resultados, cada individuo debe usar su dedo pulgar o
índice solamente.
Para registrar una huella digital, primero pulse el
botón de reinicio en el interior de la caja fuerte. El
escáner se vuelve azul con dos pitidos ( si el sonido
está activado) y el verde luz parpadea dos veces, a
continuación, se registrará la misma dedo tres veces
como sigue:

NOTA: El botón de reinicio rojo situado en el
interior de la puerta, se cubre con una tapa de
color rojo extraíble. Cuando se utiliza el botón
de reinicio rojo, mientras que el establecimiento de su propia combinación, retire la
tapa para acceder al botón.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa de forma segura sobre
el botón de reinicio después de establecer su
combinación. De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja
fuerte .
3. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por tercera
vez, sostiene el dedo en la misma posición hasta que
haya dos pitidos (si el sonido está activado) y la luz
verde parpadea dos veces. Levantar el dedo del
escáner. Su huella digital se registra ahora.
ESCANEAR EL MISMO DEDO 3X
Si la luz roja parpadea tres veces con tres pitidos (si el
sonido está activado) su huella digital no consiguió
registrada y usted tendrá que empezar de nuevo.
Si introduce más de 20 huellas dactilares, la luz roja
parpadeará 5 veces y habrá 5 pitidos (si el sonido está
activado).
NOTA: En ciertas condiciones de clima seco, su
huella digital no puede escanear. Si su huella
digital no se ha escaneado, se recomienda
hidratación con loción de mínima y de volver a
intentarlo.

ABRIR EL SEGURO USANDO SU
HUELLA
Para abrir la caja de seguridad, pulse el escáner con un
dedo registrado. La luz azul se encenderá con un
pitido (si el sonido está activado ) y la exploración se
iniciará.
Si la luz parpadea en verde dos veces con 2 pitidos (si
el sonido está activado), la exploración ha sido
aceptada y tendrá 5 segundos para girar la manija para
abrir la puerta.
Si la luz roja parpadea una vez, el escáner no leyó su
huella digital y tienes que probar de nuevo. Si la luz
roja parpadea 3 veces, el escáner lee la huella dactilar
y no lo aceptó.
Si hay 3 exploraciones rechazados, donde se
leyó su huella digital, y los destellos de luz roja 5
veces con 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado),
tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 60
segundos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un
escaneo. La caja fuerte emitirá un pitido (si el
sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
Si hay 1 exploración más rechazada, donde se
leyó la huella dactilar y la luz roja parpadea 5
veces con 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado),
tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 5
minutos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un
escaneo. La caja fuerte emitirá un pitido (si el
sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
ACTIVAR EL SONIDO DE
ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
Su caja fuerte viene con el sonido de pitido
activado.
Para activar el sonido, pulse el escáner con una huella
digital registrada por 10 segundos hasta que la luz
verde parpadea dos veces.
Para activar el sonido , pulse el escáner con una
huella digital registrada hasta que oiga dos pitidos y
la luz verde parpadea dos veces.
BORRADO DE LA MEMORIA
Para borrar la memoria de todas las huellas digitales
registradas, localizar el botón de reinicio en el interior
de la caja fuerte y pulsar este botón durante unos 5
segundos hasta que la luz verde parpadea 10 veces
con 10 pitidos ( si el sonido está activado). Se
borrarán todos los escaneos grabados.
NOTA: Para mayor seguridad se debe registrar
una huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja
fuerte.
BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO
Para bloquear la caja de seguridad, cerrar la puerta
y gire la palanca hacia la derecha hasta que se
detenga. Si el mango no se activa hasta que se
detenga, el mecanismo de bloqueo no se
bloqueará.
NOTA SOBRE EL BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO:
Debido a que el mecanismo de bloqueo se desactiva
durante aproximadamente 3 a 6 segundos después de
que se introduzca la huella digital , esperar un mínimo
de 6 segundos desde el momento en que se introduzca
la combinación para bloquear la caja fuerte.
SELECCIÓN DE UNA UBICACIÓN
La caja de seguridad tiene que ser montado en el
suelo. Para la seguridad y la seguridad óptima, la
caja de seguridad debe ser instalado adyacente a
una pared lateral con un espacio mínimo a cada
lado de la caja de seguridad , en una zona aislada
, seco y seguro.
La caja fuerte debe ser plana contra la pared y
el suelo Retire la placa base si es necesario.

FIJACIÓN DEL SEGURO
NOTA: La caja fuerte se debe fijar en el suelo.
Utilizar el hardware proporcionado o consulte a
su distribuidor de hardware para la fijación del
hardware de su superficie de montaje particular.
NOTA: Este seguro se debe montar en el suelo.
De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la
seguridad de la caja fuerte.
Marcar los agujeros que deben utilizarse. Perforar el
diámetro apropiado y la profundidad de los agujeros
piloto en función del tipo de hardware que se utilice
y del tipo de superficie de montaje.
Fijar la caja fuerte con los sujetadores.
COPIA DE SEGURIDAD CLAVE
Un " Copia de seguridad de clave " se ha
proporcionado en caso de que las baterías están
bajas. Si pierde su clave, puede comprar una llave de
recambio se referencia al número de serie ubicado
en la parte posterior de su caja fuerte o en la esquina
de la parte frontal inferior derecha . Véase la sección

información.
1. Retire la cubierta presionando la lengüeta y
girando la cubierta como se muestra en la

entrar en el nuevo código, retire la llave y el tornillo
de la tapa en su lugar.

INSTALLATION OF SCOPE STAND-OFF
NOTA: El alcance enfrentamiento funcionará

GARANTÍA LIMITADA DE POR VIDA Y LO GARANTIZADO
(Válido solo para compras en América del Norte)
Si su caja fuerte de Stack-On sufre daños debido a robo o incendio en cualquier momento mientras aún es propiedad del propietario
original, Stack-On reparará o reemplazará (a discreción de Stack-On) su caja fuerte sin cargo. Si Stack-On elige reparar la caja
fuerte, dicho trabajo de reparación puede ser realizado por un técnico local aprobado por Stack-On. Dependiendo de la extensión
del daño, Stack-On puede requerir que la caja fuerte sea devuelta a la fábrica para su reparación. Si se devuelve la caja fuerte,
Stack-On pagará el flete a la fábrica así como el flete de devolución. Si se reemplaza la caja fuerte, Stack-On pagará el flete. Esta
garantía no cubre los costos de mano de obra para el retiro o instalación de la caja fuerte y su contenido. Cualquier reparación,
desmantelamiento o manipulación realizada sin la aprobación previa por escrito o la dirección de Stack-On anulará esta garantía. La
propiedad personal en la caja fuerte no está cubierta por esta garantía.
Además, se garantiza que las cajas fuertes de Stack-On están libres de defectos en el material y la mano de obra durante el tiempo
que el consumidor original sea propietario del producto (a menos que se proporcionen períodos más cortos a continuación). Las
cerraduras y la pintura están garantizadas por un período de cinco (5) años a partir de la fecha de compra original del consumidor.
Esta garantía se extiende únicamente al consumidor inicial. Si cree que hay un defecto en el material o la mano de obra en su caja
fuerte de Stack-On durante el período de garantía, comuníquese con nuestro departamento de servicio al cliente en la dirección
proporcionada en este documento. Si Stack-On recibe una notificación adecuada durante el período de garantía y, después de que
la inspección confirma que hay un defecto, Stack-On, a su exclusivo criterio, proporcionará piezas de reparación o cambiará el
producto sin cargo, o reembolsará el precio de compra del producto.
ESTA GARANTÍA NO CUBRE NINGÚN PRODUCTO, O CUALQUIER PARTE DE CUALQUIER PRODUCTO, QUE HAYA SIDO
SUJETO A USO EXCESIVO, ACCIDENTE, NEGLIGENCIA, INSTALACIÓN INCORRECTA, MANTENIMIENTO INCORRECTO,
ALTERACIÓN O REPARACIÓN POR PARTE DE NINGÚN OTRO QUE NO SEA STACK-ON, NI POR ABUSO O MAL USO.
ESTA GARANTÍA ES EXCLUSIVA Y SUSTITUYE EXPRESAMENTE A TODAS LAS DEMÁS GARANTÍAS EXPRESAS O
IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUIDAS LAS GARANTÍAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD Y APTITUD PARA UN PROPÓSITO EN PARTICULAR,
QUE POR LA PRESENTE SE RECHAZA Y EXCLUYE. STACK-ON NO ESTARÁ SUJETO A NINGUNA OTRA OBLIGACIÓN
O RESPONSABILIDAD. STACK-ON NO ASUME NI AUTORIZA A NINGUNA OTRA PERSONA A ASUMIR EN SU NOMBRE,
NINGUNA OTRA RESPONSABILIDAD EN RELACIÓN CON LA VENTA DE CAJAS FUERTES DE STACK-ON.
STACK-ON NO SERÁ, BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA, RESPONSABLE ANTE EL CONSUMIDOR INICIAL POR CUALQUIER
DAÑO INCIDENTAL, CONSECUENTE, ESPECIAL, EJEMPLAR O PUNITIVO QUE SURJA DE LA COMPRA O USO DE CUALQUIER
PRODUCTO DE STACK-ON, INCLUYENDO EL ACERO RESISTENTE AL FUEGO. LA RESPONSABILIDAD DE STACK-ON POR
CUALQUIER INCUMPLIMIENTO DE ESTA GARANTÍA SE LIMITARÁ EXCLUSIVAMENTE A LA REPARACIÓN O REEMPLAZO DEL
PRODUCTO DEFECTUOSO, COMO SE DESCRIBE ARRIBA, O AL REEMBOLSO DEL PRECIO DE COMPRA DEL PRODUCTO.
EN NINGÚN CASO LA OBLIGACIÓN DE STACK-ON BAJO ESTA GARANTÍA EXCEDERÁ EL PRECIO DEL PRODUCTO.
ESTA GARANTÍA LE OTORGA DERECHOS LEGALES ESPECÍFICOS. TAMBIÉN PUEDE TENER OTROS DERECHOS
QUE VARÍAN DE UN ESTADO A OTRO.

• Una descripción del reclamo de garantía, incendio o robo.
• El número de modelo y fotografías de la caja fuerte
• El número de serie en la parte delantera o trasera de la caja fuerte.
• Una copia del informe del departamento de bomberos, policía o compañía de seguros dentro de los 30
días posteriores al daño. (Aplica sólo a unidades dañadas por robo o incendio)
• Comprobante de información de compra de la caja fuerte
Este producto no está diseñado para el almacenamiento de discos de computadora, CD, DVD, materiales
audiovisuales o negativo de fotografías.
