MiTone SMART GEAR FITNESS TRACKER (MITSG10)
Thank you for purchasing the MiTone Smart Gear Fitness Tracker. This guide is intended to get you
set up and using your device as quickly as possible by using the Smart Gear App. (Recommended)
You can also set up your Smart Gear manual without the App. Please use the full manual if you like to
do this.
CHARGE THE BATTERY
It is recommended that you charge your battery for 3-4 hours before first use.
Align the prongs on the charging cable to the metal pads on the back of the device. Wrap and clip the
retention band in place. Plug the cable into the USB port of your computer or outlet adaptor. The
fully charged battery should last 7 days under normal use conditions. It is recommended to not let
the battery discharge lower than 10% before re-charging. Some functions will not work if the battery
is lower than 10% in order to save power.
DOWNLOAD THE SMART GEAR APP FOR YOUR SMARTPHONE
Using the Smart Gear device in conjunction with the Smart Gear App on your smart phone will
drastically enhance your device setup, maintenance and ongoing fitness tracking. Please note that
you can use the App with your Smart Gear on most Smartphones.

IPhones: 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6plus
Operating system requirements: Bluetooth 4.0 and iOS 7.0 or higher
App available in Apple App Store
ANDROID:
Most common Samsung phones: Galaxy SIII, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note III/IIII
Most common LG phones: Nexus 4, Optimus G
Most common Motorola phones: Moto X
Most common HTC phones: One X
Operating system requirements: Bluetooth 4.0 and OS 4.3 (Jelly Bean) or higher
App available in Google Play App store
PAIR YOUR SMART GEAR TO YOUR SMARTPHONE.
After you have downloaded the Smart Gear App you can pair your Smart Gear to your smart phone.
On your device:
Press the S2 button until you get to PAIR mode, press-and-hold the S2 button to enter PAIR mode
SEARCHING will blink on the screen then PAIR will scroll.
On your smart phone:
(While PAIR is scrolling) Open the SMART GEAR App and select I have Smart Gear, choose the SMART
GEAR you like to add and touch “Done”.
On the Bluetooth Pairing Request touch “Pair” CONNECTED will show on your display.
Your Smart Gear and smart phone are now paired.
Complete the registration and you will be auto-prompted to setup your Smart Gear using the App.
It is recommended to set up your Smart Gear using the Smart Gear App, however you also have the
option to set up your Smart Gear manually.
Manual Set Up
Press button S2 until you get to SET mode.
Press-and-hold the S2 button to enter SET mode (TIME will be blinking on the screen).
Press the S1 button repeatedly to scroll through all the sections in SET mode: TIME, UNIT, USER,
SLEEP, CAL, MOVE TIME, VIBRATION, and PAIR.
Press the S2 button to enter each section, press the S1 button to adjust each value, press the S2
button to advance through each option in the section.
Press-and-hold the S2 button to save your settings.
Repeat this process for all sections in SET mode.
DAILY ACTIVITY AND INFORMATION AT A GLANCE
As you wear the Smart Gear it automatically counts your steps and calorie burn while also comparing
your current stats to your pre-set goals.
Pressing button S1 repeatedly allows you to scroll through all your real-time daily activity
information.
Note: on all daily information screens, the Bluetooth icon will appear if the Bluetooth is ON. There is
no Bluetooth icon if the Bluetooth is OFF. In any Daily Activity screen, press-and-hold the S1 button
to turn the Bluetooth ON or OFF.
• TIME: this screen shows the current time and current battery power
• DATE: this screen shows the day of the week and date
• CALORIE: this screen will auto-scroll through your current total of calories burned for the day and
your current percentage of hitting your daily calorie burn Cal
• DISTANCE: this screen shows your accumulated distance for the day.
• STEP: this screen will auto-scroll through your current step total for the day and your current
percentage of your hitting your daily step Cal
Note: your device must be paired to your smartphone using the Smart Gear App for the WEATHER,
PHONE, and MESSAGE functions to work. (On Android models not all function are supported)
• WEATHER: this screen shows the current weather and temperature
• PHONE: this screen shows the number of incoming calls / this screen also provides access to the
phone call information.

• MESSAGE: this screen shows the number of incoming text messages / this screen also provides
access to the text

• BATTERY POWER: this screen shows your current battery power as well as a summary of your
number of call and text messages
If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this product please note
that:
