What does TweetNEST do?
TweetNEST allows the user to download1, save and archive theirs, and others, Tweets.
You do not have to follow a user to download and archive their Tweets. You only need to
have an active Twitter account.
Once the Tweets are archived or saved to the user’s device, the user can:
1. Search selected users Tweets, by:

Hash-tag

Account user

URL

Label

Keyword
2. Label Tweets

Create and search your own labels
3. Filter selected users Tweets, by:

Hash-tag

Account user

URL

Label

Keyword
4. Print/Save/Publish filtered Tweets as:

Text file

CSV file
5. Link to directly text analysis websites
6. ReTweet selected Tweets in the users preferred App

Currently, it is not possible to download more than 3200 Tweets from a user’s
timeline. Once the initial 3200 Tweets are downloaded the number of Tweets is only
limited by the memory of your device. Archived users can be updated at any time and
new Tweets for the selected user is automatically added to the selected users archive

Description
The home screen displays the users that have been archived.

It allows the user to:

Add new users

Update selected existing users
3.
Publish/Print/Export the contents of selected users
4.
Search for Tweets that have been labelled for selected users
5.
Delete selected users from the archive
6.
Long press on the user profile will provide the user with the selected accounts profile information.

1. User Profile
Description
The “User Profile” screen rovides a summary of the selected user’s profile.

2. New User
Description
The “Add User Screen” allows the user to add Twitter account holders to their archive.

To get to the “New User” screen
1.
Select NEW on Home Screen
On the screen
1.
The user will be required to enter their search term.
2.
The user will be presented with a number of options that fit the search term.
3.
The user can select the Twitter user account based on the profiles provided once the search is
completed.
4.
A preview of the selected users Tweets will be shown.
5.
The user will be given the opportunity to either add the user to their archive or cancel and resume
searching for other Twitter account holders.

3. Update User Screen
Description
The “Update User Screen” allows the user to update the archives of existing Twitter account holders to
their archive.

To get to the “Update User Screen” screen
1.
Select account(s) to be updated on Home Screen
2.
Select UPD button on Home Screen
3.
Pressing the BACK key, after the update is completed, will take the user back to the Home
Screen.
Functions
1.
TweetNEST will automatically download Tweets that the selected account(s) have made since
the last update was completed and add them to the existing archive(s) for the selected user(s).
2.
TweetNEST will display the new Tweets for each of the selected users.

4. Label Search Screen
Description
This “Label Search Screen” screen allows the user to search for Tweets that have been labelled for
selected users.

1.
Select account(s) to be searched on Home Screen
2.
Select LAB button
On the screen
1.
Select required labels from the list of existing labels displayed.
Functions
1.
Searches selected accounts for selected labels that have been attached to Tweets by the
TweetNEST user.
2.
Displays Tweets according to their labels for all selected accounts.

5. Publish
Description
This “Publish Tweets Screen” allows the user to Publish/Print/Export the contents of selected accounts.

Select account(s) to be Publish/Print/Export on Home Screen

The user will be presented with a number of options.
a.
Select the labels (for the selected users) of the Tweets that you wish to
Publish/Print/Export
b.
Select which elements (hash-tags, usernames, text, URLs and Labels) of the Tweets to be
Publish/Print/Export for the selected users and/or labelled Tweets. And then,
c.
Select the option to export the selected elements to a CSV file – that can be imported
into various spread sheet software (e.g. Excel)
d.
Select the option to export the selected elements to a text document - that can be
imported into various text software (e.g. MS Word)

Select one of the URLs provide that take you to a number of text content analysis

The selected elements of the Tweets to be Published/Printed/Exported for the selected users
and/or labelled Tweets will be automatically copied to the clipboard and the user will be taken to
the selected website where they can paste in the selected items and perform the analysis
provided by the site operators.

Description
The “Delete User Screen” allows the user to delete selected accounts from the archive.

Description

Description

Description
