Frequently Answers and Questions

How do I adjust the saddle height?

To adjust the saddle height, loosen the seat clamp binder bolt by turning it anticlockwise by two to three turns, or by using the quick-release lever if fitted. Then, adjust the saddle height so that your leg is fully stretched and your hips remain horizontal when your heel is on the pedal at its lowest point. Finally, clamp the seat post tight again by turning the seat post binder bolt clockwise, or by closing the quick-release lever.

What is the correct saddle height?

The correct saddle height is the height which gives maximum pedalling comfort and efficiency. When pedalling, the ball of your big toe should be positioned above the centre of the pedal spindles. With your feet in this position you should not be able to stretch your legs completely straight at the lowest point.

How do I adjust the handlebars?

To adjust the handlebars, loosen the expander bolt by two to three complete turns. Then, move the handlebars and stem up and down as a whole. Be sure to straighten the handlebars so that they are symmetrical with respect to the front wheel. Finally, tighten the expander bolt with a torque wrench, taking care not to exceed the maximum permissible torque.
