To manually raise or lower the tap-changer motor, the control switch must be set to "Manual". Then, you can momentarily toggle the raise/lower switch.

The Drag-Hand Reset Switch operates a solenoid in the position indicator to move the drag hands to the present tap position.

The External Source Terminals are used to power the control and tap-changer motor from an external source. The control is typically wired for an external source of 120 Vac, but it can be configured for 240 Vac. Ensure correct polarity when connecting external voltage to these terminals.
