Frequently asked questions

The CLAMPEX 700 is designed for cylindrical shafts without feather keys.

The CLAMPEX 700 is delivered assembled. Before assembly, clean and degrease the shaft contact surfaces. Use thin-bodied oil such as Castrol 4-in-1 or Klüber Quitsch Ex. Ensure proper alignment and tighten the clamping screws evenly and crosswise until the specified tightening torque is reached.

Detach all clamping screws evenly and successively. The clamping sets are not self-locking. If the front and back external taper rings don't loosen, apply slight pressure to the rings on the circumference.
