ASSEMBLY GUIDE
Hemingford Accent Chair
Components
Upon unpacking your chair from it’s delivery box, you should have two
separate components (the seat and the back rest of the chair). Additional
components are packed inside the seat, you will learn how to access and
utilise these components in the next steps.
Chair seat x 1

Unpacking
Turn the chair seat so that the underside is facing you. Follow the coloured
string to the component compartment. Unzip this and take out the
additional components, then zip it back up.
A x 2 (Front legs)
B(R) x 1 (Back right leg)
B(L) x 1 (Back left leg)

C x 12 (60mm bolts)

D x 5 (80mm bolts)
E x 17 (Washer)
F x 1 (Allen Key)
Step 1
Align the seat (1) to the back rest (2) so that the
screw slots overlap. Fit a washer (E) to a 80mm bolt
(D) and place it into one of the screw holes. Turn the
bolt with the allen key (F) until it is secure.
Repeat for all five bolts.

Step 2
Lay down the chair so that the underside of the seat
is facing you. Align one front leg (A) over the screw
slots so that they overlap. Fit a washer (E) to a 60mm
bolt (C) and place it into one screw hole. Turn the
bolt with the allen key (F) until it is secure, but do not
tighten yet. Repeat for the other two bolts for that leg.
Repeat those steps again for the second front leg (A)
as well as for the left and right back legs (B(L) & B(R)) in
their correct positions on the chair.

Step 3
Lift the chair off the ground and turn it right side up
while being careful not to put any pressure on the
legs while you turn the chair.
Step 4
Place the chair on a flat surface, then sit on the chair
and shift your weight around until the legs are level
and the chair does not rock. Then use the allen key
(F) to tighten all the bolts. Enjoy your new chair!
