Frequently asked questions

Follow the instructions in the User Management section to enroll a new user. You can enroll a user using their fingerprint, password, or a combination of both.

1:N matching compares the user's fingerprint against all the fingerprints stored in the database, while 1:1 matching requires the user to enter their ID first and then compares the fingerprint to only the one associated with that ID. 1:N matching is faster but less accurate, 1:1 matching is slower but more accurate.

See the Communication Options section for details on configuring the WF-7 for network connectivity using Ethernet.

The Time Zone (Period) Settings and Group Time Zone (Period) Settings sections describe how to configure access restrictions for different periods of time.
