To adjust the downforce, carefully turn the counterweight on the rear end of the tonearm tube until the armtube balances out. Then, hold the counterweight without moving it and gently revolve the downforce scale ring until the zero is in line with the anti-skating prong. Finally, rotate the counterweight counter clockwise to adjust the downforce according to the cartridge manufacturer's recommendations.

The turntable has gold-plated female RCA phono sockets, so you can connect it to your amplifier using the interconnect cables supplied. Use the Phono input on your amplifier, which should offer correct matching and amplification for the type of cartridge used. Ensure that you connect the left and right channels correctly.

To change the replay speed, press the speed change button to switch between 33 and 45 r.p.m. The selected speed will be shown by the lit green LED (33 r.p.m.) or red LED (45 r.p.m.). To play records at 78 r.p.m., remove the platter, fit the belt around the larger diameter step of the pulley, and then start the turntable at 33 r.p.m. and switch the speed to 45 r.p.m.
