GENERAL USE Setting the time Pull the crown out to the 2nd position. The small second hand stops. Adjust the hour by turning the crown in the desired direction. When the crown is pushed back to the normal position, small second hand begins to run. Setting the date Pull the crown out to the 1st position. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date. When the date is correctly set push back the crown on normal position. Important : Date setting MUST UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES be carried out between 22.00 h (10 P.M.) and 2.00 h (2 A.M.). Use of the chronograph • Measuring time with chronograph Button A : 1st pressure : sets off the time measurement. Chronograph second hand begins to run. 2nd pressure : stops the time measurement. Chronograph second hand stops. Button B : Only one pressure reset the chronograph hand second to zero. • Split time function The Split time function enables you to stop the second chronograph hand to read an intermediate time, without interrupting timing. When you restart, the second chronograph hand “catch up” to the ongoing elapsed time. Button A pressure: sets off the time measurement, Button B pressure: stops the time measurement to read the intermediate time, then new pressure of Button B to restart time measurement. Push Button A to stop time measurement then Button B to reset the chronograph second hand and the chronograph minute hand to zero. Resetting the starting position of the chronograph second hand Pull the crown out to the 1st position. Push button A to set position of the chronograph second hand. Once the hand has been set push back the crown on normal position.
