Place the counterweight halfway along the counterweight support rod at the rear of the arm. Remove the felt mat and place the stylus pressure gauge onto the platter. To set the recommended 17,5mN downforce, place the tip of the stylus exactly in-between the two points marked 15mN and 20mN. Adjust the counterweight until the stylus pressure gauge is level. Secure the counterweight with the hexagonal key provided.

Connect the captive tonearm signal lead to the Phono input (sometimes labelled gram, disc or RIAA) on your amplifier. Make sure that the phono input offers correct matching and amplification for the type of cartridge used.

The recommended load resistance for the factory fitted cartridge is: 47kohms /MM-input
