* The battery provided has been kept in factory storage so it may last shorter than

e |f the product is very dirty, wipe off a little at a time with a soft cloth wet with
mild detergent diluted in water, and after that wipe dry.
e Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol, or spray cleaner to clean.
How to Use
<How to Insert Battery & Set the Time>
1. Remove the cover.
2. Insert the battery into the battery holder
after checking the ©, Oside of the battery.
*Place your finger on the $ end of the
battery whilst gently pushing the ©
end of the battery holder to
remove/insert the battery.
3. Turn the hands knob in the direction of the
arrow (anti-clockwise) to set the time.
4. Close the cover.
<How To Use the Alarm>
1. Set the alarm time
Be sure to turn the alarm knob in the
direction of the arrow (anti-clockwise) to
set the alarm. Alarm time can be set at 10
minute intervals.
2. Turn on the alarm switch
ON: Alarm will sound at the set time.
OFF: Alarm will not sound, or use to turn
the alarm off.
Precautions for Using the Alarm
e Turning the alarm knob in the opposite direction may reduce the alarm time
e When the alarm switch is set to ON, the alarm will sound twice a day in the
morning and afternoon. If not in use, turn the alarm OFF.
* When the alarm switch is ON, the alarm will continue to sound for about
25-55 minutes at the time set.
e Due to the structure of the alarm mechanism, it may sound anytime
between 5 minutes before or after the set time.

Proper Locations for Use
Do not place in the following locations. This may lead to the deterioration of
the quality of the mechanism, case and battery, reduce time accuracy and
life of the battery and clock.
e Locations where the temperature is over +50°C (50 degrees) (+122°F)
E.g. In locations where it is in direct sunlight for a long time. Locations
close to hot air or open flames such as heating appliances.
e Locations where it is in direct contact with ventilation such as cooling

(+14°F) (The plastic part or battery may deteriorate.)
* Locations with high temperatures or humidity such as a bathroom, sauna etc.
e Locations where there may be a lot of dust. (The clock may stop if air dust
accumulates inside the mechanism.)
e Locations where there is strong magnetism such as next to a TV, electronic
office equipment, or audio equipment. (The clock may speed up, slow
down or stop due to the magnetism.)
e Locations where it may be subject to vibration such as in a car, on a boat
or at a construction site,
e Locations where there may be gas such as a hot spring bath.
e Locations where a lot of oil may be used. (The clock may stop or be
soiled if oil sprays onto the case or mechanism.)
e If exposed to very dry or humid places for a long time, the wooden frame
may be damaged.
e If the plastic cover comes into direct contact with soft polyvinyl chloride
for a long time, the colors may rub off on each other or stain.
e Do not use outdoors.

About the battery
* |f the battery leaks, do not touch with bare hands, but remove the
battery with rubber gloves.
A e If the liquid leaking from the battery enters the eyes, it may
cause blindness so rinse well with clean tap water immediately
and seek treatment from a doctor. If it comes into contact with
skin or clothing, please rinse with tap water immediately.
* Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat or put the battery into a
fire. This may cause it to leak, heat up or explode.
If the battery is used incorrectly, there may be a danger of it heating
up or exploding, or it may cause bodily harm or damage around the
clock due to leakage.
* Do not insert the batteries in the wrong direction.
A e Immediately remove the dead battery.
e Remove the batteries from clock that will not be used for a long time.
CAUTION © Do not recharge the battery.
e When the clock is not moving, the battery contact point may be dirty.
Please clean it with a soft cloth.
About Rechargeable Batteries
e Only use rechargeable batteries after fully charging.
e The battery life may differ or it may stop working due to the
voltage or volume of the rechargeable battery.
e Remove dead batteries when the product will not be used for
long periods of time.
How to Handle
The clock is a precision instrument.
Please do not drop it or subject it to
strong impact. This may lead to
malfunction or damage.
Do not disassemble or modify.
