Individual Parts
Regarding Genuine and Functional Parts

the following rules:
1. Use only genuine DJI parts or parts certified by DJI. Unauthorized parts or
parts from non-DJI-certified manufacturers may cause system malfunctions
and compromise safety.
2. Ensure the Zenmuse X5 and its components are free of foreign objects (water,
oil, soil, sand, etc.).
Firmware
1. Always update the firmware to the latest version to ensure the safety of use.
2. Ensure the USB connection and power supply are normal during firmware
updates.
Camera
1. Photos or videos cannot be transmitted or copied from the camera if the
battery is powered off.
2. Be sure to power off the battery correctly, otherwise your camera parameters
will not be saved and any recorded videos may be damaged.
3. Test the camera by shooting a few test images to check that it is operating
correctly before shooting important pictures.
4. Respect the privacy of others when using the camera. Make sure you comply

Product Care
Storage and Transportation
To avoid serious injury to children and animals, observe the following rule:
Small parts, such as cables and straps, are dangerous if swallowed. Keep all
parts out of reach of children and animals.
1. Do NOT allow the system to come into contact with, or become immersed
in, water or other liquids. If it gets wet, wipe dry with a soft, absorbent
cloth. Turning on a system that has fallen into water may cause permanent
component damage. Do NOT use substances containing alcohol, benzene,
thinners or other flammable substances to clean or maintain the system. Do
NOT store the system in humid or dusty areas.
2. Do NOT connect this product to a USB interface of a version less than 2.0.
Connection to so-called “power USB” is prohibited.
3. Detach the camera from the device when storing for a long period of time
or transporting over long distances. Also replace the Camera Cover when
storing.

Usage Condition Requirements
Weather Conditions and Surrounding Environment
Do NOT use the Zenmuse X5 in severe weather conditions such as those
involving snow, rain, smog or tornados.
Usage Notices
1. Filters must have a size of 46 mm and weigh 7-11 g, with those weighing
10-11 g performing the best. Outside this range, the filter will decrease
gimbal performance.
2. It is recommended to wrap the dust cover around the lens for aerial
applications.
3. It is important to tighten the Lens Lock after attaching the camera lens, as
this can reduce the vibrations of the lens when the aircraft is moving in flight.
Always loosen the Lens Lock before detaching the camera lens.
4. A filter can be installed in place of the Camera Balancing Ring. Remember to
use a filter that fulfills the weight requirement.
5. The Lens Hood can only be installed on the DJI MFT 15mm f/1.7 ASPH or
Panasonic Lumix G Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 ASPH. DO NOT install
the Lens Hood on the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0.
6. Always set the camera lens to AF mode. The focus and aperture will be
controlled by the DJI GO app digitally.
7. Ensure the aircraft battery is fully charged when used with the Zenmuse
X5, or else the battery level may be displayed incorrectly. Fully charge the
battery before use if it has been stored for a long period. Immediately return
the aircraft to the Home Point if the Low Battery Level Warning is triggered.
