CHECK AND TIGHTEN ALL HARDWARE PERIODICALLY
Hardware Included:
2 Drilled Angle Brackets 4 “U” Bolt Kits 2 Ladder Supports
1.
Verify all pieces are included. Read and understand all instructions before beginning installation.
2.
Insert one of the “U” bolts through the angle brackets, washer bar, and thread a nut on each “U” bolt leg.
(see the drawing) Repeat for the other support.
3.
Slide one assembly on the bottom of each ladder support. Be sure the ladder support is oriented to be over
the truck, not out in the street. Tighten only enough to allow movement.
4.
Stand the ladder support in the truck bed. Check for vertical alignment front to back and side to side, then
clamp it in place so it is standing straight up, aligned with the body of the vehicle.
5.
Hold the unused “U” bolt up to the bed rail and mark the locations to drill through for mounting.
6.
Drill a 5/16” hole through the bed rail at the locations marked.
7.
Wrap the “U” bolt around the upright, insert the legs through the bed rail, install the washer bar, and thread
the nuts on the legs. Tighten only enough to hold the support in place.
8.
Locate and mark where the holes will be drilled in the truck bed floor. Because all trucks are different, and
each customer might want the rack located differently, there are no screws or bolts included with the kit.
Each user must evaluate the best method of mounting the rack to their truck.
9.
Check under the location selected to drill the holes. Be sure there are no hoses, wires, or fuel lines that can
be damaged when the holes are drilled.
10.
Drill and secure the bottom of the rack mount to the truck bed.
11.
Tighten all nuts and bolts securely.
