New flexible and eco-friendly projectors are revealed
Bring meetings to life with vibrant colour
1 September 2013 – Epson, the world’s number one projector manufacturer1, announces a
refresh of its cost-effective entry level range2 of 3LCD projectors, aimed at SOHOs, SMEs
and education establishments. The EB-S18, EB-X18, EB-W18, EB-X24, EB-S17, EB-X20,
EB-W22 and EB-X25 offer new features including Wi-Fi compatibility3 and are great value for
money. They are available to buy from 1st October 2013.
This range offers increased lumens and new features including a moderator function4,
Colour Universal Design (CUD), HDMI input, A/V mute and a horizontal keystone slider. An
equally high White and Colour Light Output delivers up to three times brighter colours5,
which means you don’t need to close the blinds, even in daylight. They are easy-to-use and
have an improved 10,000:1 contrast ratio, creating crisp, clear images.
Paul White, projector product manager, Epson Europe, says: “We’ve listened to what our
customers want and made sure the entire range can be connected to either a wired or
wireless network to facilitate content sharing – something you don’t often see at this level.”
In response to the growing trend of information sharing from smart devices, laptops and
tablet PCs – these projectors work with the iProjection application for iOS and Android
devices. It enables information to be easily shared from these devices through the projector.

To help reduce environmental impact and save money in the long term, this series features a
new eco tab in the menu screen, where you can set and display all eco features in one
place.
The auto lamp dimming function adjusts the brightness of the lamp in line with the
brightness of the image being displayed, which offers benefits in terms of reduced power
consumption and therefore bills and environmental impact as well as delivering
improvements in terms of contrast ratio. The A/V mute function and sleep mode allow the
projector to enter into a super low brightness setting, reducing the lamp wattage by 70
percent in the process.
Easy-to-use
The new moderator function on the EB-X20, EB-W22 and EB-X25 enables PCs and smart
devices to easily connect to the projector, while the meeting host or teacher controls the
projected content. It ensures the presenter can easily manage how and when content is
shared and up to 50 people can connect at one time.
Meanwhile, HDMI input support means that high-definition video and audio are played
easily, whether the projector is used for business, in education or for entertainment.
Positioning flexibility is delivered through Epson’s unique horizontal keystone slider and
automatic vertical keystone correction, so you always get a square image.
Once in position, thanks to Epson’s Colour Universal Design (CUD), colour-blind users can
easily view and operate the control panel. The LED colours and clear, intuitive menu icons
on the projectors’ control panel means operation is straightforward for all users.
The EB-S18, EB-X18, EB-W18, EB-X24, EB-S17, EB-X20, EB-W22 and EB-X25, are
available from 1st October 2013, priced at €XX, €XX, €XX , €XX , €XX, €XX , €XX and €XX
