DIGITAL VIDEO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Intellex® RMS (RAID Mass Storage) is an intelligent
digital video management system that combines
multiplexing, alarm/event detection, audio, text, and
video recording with enhanced data protection and
larger storage options. Intellex RMS will
simultaneously a) display live and recorded video
along with associated audio and text, b) host multiple
remote users, c) archive data, d) search for data and
more – all while recording multiple cameras.
The same feature set available in the latest Intellex
software is supported with Intellex RMS. Define
motion-based event criteria before recording and
IntelleCord® software records only those events you

want to see. Once images and text are recorded,
define the type of recorded events you want to find
and Smart Search software instantly locates and
replays them with digital precision. Type in a text
string and Intellex will instantly display the video and
time-synchronized text data for review, all while still
recording live events.
In addition to the benefits and capabilities of Intellex,
Intellex RMS adds RAID 5 fault tolerance, hard drive
failure alarms, internal storage capacities up to 1.5
TB, and simple hard drive maintenance. What’s more,
the rack mount chassis provides for easy installation.
The RMS is designed for freestanding and selfsupporting enclosures with EIA-310-D standard 19inch mounting flanges, in front and rear, and a
minimum of 24-inch free internal depth.
Intellex RMS is the solution for customers who need
a highly reliable digital video management system.
Compatible with Network Client™ and all third party
applications developed using the Intellex API, Intellex
RMS is remotely accessible, networkable, and easy to
integrate with other equipment.

Note: The use of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is highly recommended as
standard practice to protect mission-critical computing systems from power
fluctuations that may cause loss of data.
