Introduction
Overview
MobileView’s Body Camera is a full-featured body worn camera specifically designed for Law
Enforcement’s applications. It features real-time HD video 1080P recording, and a high resolution
still image capture with up to 32 Megapixels. Its rugged design is resilient to withstand demanding
work environments faced by law enforcement officers, corrections, military and security detail.

Ensure camera is not recording by pressing Record
Then, press Menu
button found on the side of the camera.

Recording Resolution Menu
Body Camera offers 5 different recording resolutions. User may select resolutions based on their need.
Resolution and Frame Rate options allow user to choose a proper balance between maximizing video
quality and maximizing amount of video that can be stored

Self-Timer will work only with Bursts option and it will delay up to 10 seconds before taking still images

Time function is only active when camera is not in Record mode.

Pre-Record
Pre-Record menu provides 2 options. Pre-record saves an additional 30 seconds of video from before
the Record button is pressed, as long as the record button is pressed when camera is in idle mode.

Slide Show menu allows user to choose how snapshots are viewed. If OFF, only a single selected
snapshot will be displayed; if ON, snapshots will cycle, starting with the selected snapshot.

ID Setting menu allows user to assign a unique ID for Body Camera, and for the person to whom the
camera is assigned. Both IDs are watermarked to prevent tampering.

Date & Time Setting menu allows user to manually enter date and time on Body Camera.
Note: Body Camera with GPS Option will automatically synchronize time on Body Camera.

How to use Body Camera
Attention: Body Camera needs to be fully charged prior to first time use. Please charge Body Camera
for at least 4 hours.
6.1
Recording on Power ON
Body Camera starts recording when Powered On without taking any further action. Recording will
initiate automatically followed by audio prompt, visual LED, LCD indicators, and vibration.
1. Hold Power
button for 3 seconds to power up Body Camera.
2. Recording will start automatically.
Refer to Diagram E for Power Button.

How To Start Recording Manually
User may start recording by pressing Record
button as shown in Diagram F below. Please
ensure that the device is not in Menu or Playback mode. Recording will initiate with audio prompt,
visual LED, LCD indicators, and vibration.
Note: Body Camera will not start recording if it’s in Menu or Playback mode.

How To Stop Recording
User may Stop recording at any time by manually pressing Record
button, as shown in
Diagram F. Stopping of Recording will be announced by Body Camera’s audio, visual, and vibration
prompt.

How To Take Snapshots
User may take Snapshots by pressing Snapshot
button as shown in Diagram G below.
Note: Bursts (multiple images taken at each press of Snapshot button) only apply when Body Camera
is not in Record Mode.
When Body Camera is recording, only a single snapshot will be taken.

How To Navigate Menu
User may enter into Body Camera’s menu and make modifications on Body Camera’s operation.
1. To enter Main Menu of Body Camera, user must stop recording first. To do so, press Record
button on the side of the camera.
2. When recording is stopped, press Menu
button on the back of the camera to enter
the menu.
3. A password field will appear before user may access Body Camera’s Main Menu. Please enter
password for Body Camera using Play
characters, followed by Select
and Menu
buttons to scroll through

4. Once correct Password is entered, Body Camera will take user into Camera’s Main Menu. Here,
user will continue using Play

How To Playback Video
User may playback video directly from Body Camera. User must Stop Recording first by pressing
Record
button as shown in Diagram F. Stopping of Recording will be announced by Body
Camera’s audio, visual, and vibration prompt.

How To Playback by Segment
User may select which recorded file to review on Body Camera. User must Stop Recording first by

How To Turn On Laser Pointer
User may enable the laser pointer equipped on Body Camera. Please note that this function is only
available in Standby or Record modes. Please also note that laser may not show up in playback video.

Docking Bay
Body Camera’s multipurpose docking bay can be used to upload video onto PC or mounted on a vehicle
dashboard for easy charge and continued video recording. May also connect to a wall power outlet to
charge Body Camera.

9.1
Troubleshooting
Cannot enter Menu of Body Camera
A. Stop Recording prior to entering Body Camera’s menu by pressing Record button.
A. Body Camera supports a six character alphanumerical password format. Prior to entering menu
of Body Camera, ensure that correct password is entered.
Body Camera menu password can be changed by Authorized Administrator via Body Camera’s PC
Software.
9.2
IR are not turning on
A. IR turn on automatically only if they’re set to Auto in the Infrared menu. Otherwise the Infrared
will remain disabled.
9.3
Indicator LEDs are not lit
A. If the camera is powered up and Status LEDs are not lit go to Body Camera’s menu and select
LED Light menu option. Ensure that it is set to ON.
9.4
Body Camera only records for short periods of time
A. In event of Body Camera recording for brief moments then shutting off, please ensure that
menu option Auto Power OFF is set to OFF.
