Before First Use

1. Remove Ladle, Measuring Cup and

packing material from product.

2. Wash the Inner Pan.

3. Read instruction manual carefully.

Attach Remove

1. Place the Lid as shown in above figure.

2. Locate the Gasket around the locating ring and push gently to fix.

3. Pull gently to remove.

Add ingredients and water to the Inner Pan using the measuring cup. (Refer table 1)

Ensure that there are no foreign particles on the Heater surface.

4.

Ensure the outer surface of the Inner Pan is dry before placing into the Multi cooker.

5.

Then place the Inner Pan in the Multi cooker carefully and rotate lightly as shown in figure.

Make sure that the Inner Pan is seated properly in the cooker.

7.

If the Inner Pan is not positioned correctly, the Multi cooker will not work properly and the heater can get damaged.

8.

Hold the lid handle and rotate it anticlockwise until the Lid cover mark “ ” aligns with “ ” of outer casing.

9.

Ensure the Pressure Valve is in Pressure position except in idly menu function. For idly function it should be in release position.

Switch on the Multi cooker and the Warm indicator will glow.

Turn the switch knob clockwise to select the desired menu function. Then the cook indicator will glow.

After Cooking, the Multi cooker switch knob will go to off position and the Warm indicator will glow.

Then position the Pressure release valve as shown in figure to release steam and open the Lid.

Note :The food can be kept in Warm mode for 4 hour, if you do not wish to consume immediately.

After 4 hour the food will start to become dry so switch off your Multi cooker.

1. Follow the steps 1 - 9 prescribed in How to use Twist Multi cooker.

2. Connect the power cord to the wall socket and switch on.

3. The LED display and Keep Warm indicator will start blinking

with beep sound.

4. Select the desired menu function on the control panel by gently pressing the soft touch button.

5. The menu indicator will start glowing.

6. Select preferred texture mode by pressing texture button.

(Default is medium)

7. In few seconds the Multi cooker will beep 3 times and display will

stop blinking.

8. Now the cooking cycle starts and pressure will build.

9. When the required pressure is built inside the cooker the display will indicate pressure holding time in minute and will start to count down.

This function is used to vary textures of the food, from Coarse to

Medium to Well done based on your preference

This function is not applicable for Rice and Idly.

This function is used to set a predefined time to start the cooking process.

Procedure

1. After selecting the preset menu, press timer.

2. The display will indicate 2 hour by default.

3. Adjust time by pressing or button to increase or decrease

the time

4. The time can be set between 2 to 24 Hour

5. The food will be ready once the preset time counts down.

Do’s

1. Fix Plug firmly in to the Socket of 230 V ~ 50 Hz only with proper earthing.

2. Be careful while handling the Inner Pan when it is hot.

3. Use only Plastic Ladle provided to stir or remove Rice, etc from Inner Pan. To avoid scratches incase of non stick coated Inner Pan Model.

4. Unplug from power source after cooking is over, while cleaning and when not in use.

5. Keep Cooker away from heat, direct sunlight, stoves, burners and ovens.

6. Clean Inner Pan with mild detergent and water .

7. Use the provided Inner Pan and Lid only.

8. Use the cleaning sponge to clean Inner Pan.

9. Clean the Pressure and Lid release Valve properly after cooking regularly.

10.Select the proper menu with respect to the ingredients put into the Inner Pan for cooking.

Don’t s

1. Do not wash Rice in the Inner Pan.

2. Do not operate unless Inner Pan is in proper position.

3. Do not operate if the Plug and Cord is damaged or if the Inner

Pan is dented or damaged.

4. Do not cook more than the maximum capacity of the Inner

Pan.

5. Do not open Lid while Multi cooker is in cooking mode or before the cooker switches to Warm mode.

6. Do not use Warm function to re-heat cold rice.

7. Do not keep food in Warm position for more than 4 hour, as the texture, flavour and taste of food may change.

8. Do not wash or immerse the Multi cooker Body in water or any other liquid.

9. Do not use Inner Pan to cook food on gas or electric stove.

10.Do not use any other Lid or Inner pan than provided.

11.Do not Tamper/Modify or attempt to repair the Multi cooker on your own as this may cause electric shock. In case of any problem call any of our nearest Preethi Customer Care

Centres.

12.Do not touch Pressure Release Valve area and stainless steel area on the Lid while in operation.

13.Do not add heavy object on valve or try to replace with other object.

Cleaning

Before cleaning, unplug the Multi cooker and wait till the product cools down completely.

Body :

Wipe the outer body with soft damp cloth.

Lid:

Using clear water, clean the cover, including the Gasket, Exhaust valve, Pressure release

safety cap, Pressure release valve and Lid

release valve, and wipe it. After cleaning

install it on the cover correctly.

Inner Pan

1. Fill ½ litre of luke warm water and one teaspoon of any mild cleaning powder

2. Allow to soak for 10 to 15 minute.

3. Clean with cleaning sponge.

4. Rinse and dry.

CAUTION

1.

NEVER pour water on Heater or Thermostat.

2.

Put rice, other Ingredients and water in Inner

Pan only.

3.

Ensure Inner Pan is totally dry, before placing in Multi cooker.

WARNING

Do not immerse the Multi cooker in water or wash with splashing water.

person the Warranty is void.

All repairs within the 1 year Warranty period (arising from manufacturing defects) will be done ‘Free of Charge’. Our Customer Care Centres will not charge you for components or labour.

05.

Free service and replacement under Warranty does not affect the expiry date of the Warranty.

06. For repairs after the expiry of the Warranty period, our Customer Care Centre will levy a nominal charge on components replaced. There is no labour charge and service is free.

07. The Warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.

Frequently Answers and Questions

How do I use the On Demand Pressure function?
Press the "On Demand Pressure" button on the control panel. The display will show 30 minutes by default. You can adjust the time from 1 to 60 minutes by pressing the + or - buttons. The display will show the set time, and will start counting down after the pressure is built.
What is the Texture setting for?
The Texture setting allows you to vary the texture of your food, from coarse to medium to well done, based on your preference. It is not applicable for the Rice and Idly menus.
How often should I clean the gasket?
Clean the gasket regularly after cooking to remove any food particles. This will help to prevent leaking and ensure that the gasket lasts longer.
