Thank you for purchasing the evo4 by Red Fox. To get the most enjoyment from your evo4 and to learn how to properly operate and use this product please read this

User Guide carefully.

Before using the evo4, you need to charge the headset and pair it with a compatible device. The evo4 comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. The evo4 should be charged for at least 2 hours or until batterycapacity is full, prior to first use.

Future charges will only require 1-2 hours charging time. Connect the micro USB charging cable to the evo4 and the USB end to a power source. The LED on the evo4 will be red when charging and turn blue when fully charged. When fully charged, the evo4 has approximately 5-7 hours of playback time and up to 120 hours of standby time.

BEFORE USING

Please read through the following operation

instructions before using it:

1. Read and keep these instructions;

2. Do not use or operate in airplanes,

hospitals, while driving or in other areas

where this type of device is not permitted;

3. Do not use or operate it when you are

close to explosive or flammable sources, eg,

gas station etc;

4. Do not hit or throw the unit as it may cause

damage to the evo4;

5. Do not put near heat sources, eg, stoves,

heat registers and radiators etc;

6. Keep the evo4 away from water or other

liquids that might cause short circuit or

malfunctions;

7. For special users, such as patients who

use heart pacemakers, audiphones and

built-in cochlea devices etc, please follow

the advice of doctors.

8. Before using the evo4, you need to charge

the headphones and pair with a compatible

Bluetooth device.

Please use the original USB cable provided for evo4 when charging.

Warning: Using an unmatched USB cable for charging might damage the headset. Also, you are not permitted to take the battery out of the headset, as this may result in damage to the unit and can be dangerous.

Operations

Pairing

1. Please have your Bluetooth phone or

Bluetooth device within 3 feet of the evo4

and ensure Bluetooth is turned on and

searching for a new device. NOTE: On

some phone models, like Androids, you

will need to ask your device to “SCAN” for

a new device.

2. Press and hold the Multi-function button

(on/off button) on your evo4 until the LED

light is rapidly flashing blue and red. Your

evo4 is now in pairing mode.

3. Look for “Red Fox evo4” on your

Bluetooth device list. Touch

“Red Fox evo4” to select and complete the

pairing process. This might take 2-5

seconds, then your device should read

“connected” under or next to the word

“Red Fox evo4”

Troubleshooting

If you fail to connect the evo4 with your mobile phone, please follow these suggestions and instructions:

• Make sure your evo4 has enough power.

• Make sure your evo4 is in pairing mode.

• Make sure your mobile device is within 3

feet of the evo4.

• If the evo4 is not paired to a device, it will

automatically power off after 5 minutes.

Battery Status Indication (iPhone Meter)

After connecting the evo4 with your Apple iPhone, a battery icon will appear on the top right corner of iPhone, showing the battery status of the evo4.

Notes:

1. Fully charge at least every 6 months to

prolong the battery life.

2. Keep the evo4 dry and away from water.

3. Do not put the evo4 into a fire as the battery may explode.

4. Do not use the evo4 while driving if illegal in your state.

5. Do not disassemble the evo4, as this will void your warranty.

6. Adjust volume slowly. Do not turn up the volume suddenly as this can result in hearing damage.

Caring For Your evo4

1. Your Red Fox evo4 is a high-quality electronic device that should be treated with great care. While the evo4 is rated at an IPX4 level to protect against moisture damage, this is for general protection against sweat or brief splashes of water. It is not meant to protect for swimming, long use in rain or damp environments. Misuse of the product in any way could VOID

YOUR WARRANTY.

2. DO NOT USE for swimming or in the rain.

3. DO NOT pour water over your head when wearing the evo4.

4. DO NOT abuse, throw or crush in a purse or gym bag.

5. DO NOT aggressively push the control

buttons.

6. DO NOT pull or tear the USB charging port cover.

7. DO NOT place the evo4 in a dirty or dusty environment.

8. USE a clean, soft cloth to clean sweat or dust from your evo4. It is important to allow the evo4 to dry completely after a workout before storing in the included protective case.

9. DO NOT let children play with the evo4. Breakage is not covered by warranty.

10. Careful maintenance will prolong the life of your battery.

11. Proper temperature for charging is

10° to 45°.

12. Use at low temperature will reduce the capability of the battery.
