® Please keep your hair away from the paper entry to avoid mishap.
Please do not touch the cutting blades with your bare hands.
= Please keep soft cloth, neck ties and other objects away from the paper entry.

Please remove paper clip/pins etc before feeding the paper into the shredder.
Please do not allow children to operate or play with the shredder to prevent
possible injuries to them from the cutting blades.
Please do not spray any flammable material(gas etc) on the shredder as
sparking may occurs.
Operation Instructions:
1.Connect the shredder to an AC power source in accordance with the power
specifications as indicated on the label at the bottom of the head unit. Turn the
switch to the “ON/AUTO”position to put the shredder in standby mode.
2.Insert paper, credit card or CD into their designated feeding slots. The shredder
will automatically start shredding the material and then revert to its standby mode
when the shredding process is completed.
3.During normal shredding, the user can turn the switch to “REV” position for an
urgent stop. Any unshredded material will then be rolled out immediately.
4.If the paper being shredded is relatively wet or is made up of long fibers, it may
wrap along the blades and reduce the cutting efficiency. In such case, alternate
running the shredder in forward and reverse modes by switching between
“ON/AUTO” and “REV” two or three times. The paper can then be easily cleaned
off the blades.
Paper Jam and Overload Protection:
1.lftoo many pieces of paper is fed into the shredder at once, the shredder will slow
down significantly or even stop completely. The user should immediately turn the
switch to “REV” and then reduce the amount of paper to be fed into the shredder
in order to restore normal shredding speed.
2.For continuous shredding of large volume of paper, it is recommended to feed not
more than 5 pieces of paper each time and to limit the consecutive shredding time
to 2 minutes per session. This will help to ensure that the shredder will be able to
maintain its efficiency.
3.The shredder will automatically cut off its power in cases where the paper is jammed
after long continuous operation or if high internal temperature is detected. In such
instance, turn the switch to “OFF” for a while and then turn the switch to “ON/AUTO”
to put the shredder to standby mode. |
4 For safety reasons, the shredder cannot be operated if the head unit is not placed
properly into the waste receptacle or is removed from the waste receptacle.
Safety Instructions:
1.Please locate the shredder near to the AC outlet for quick power disconnection in
case of emergency.
2.Please keep objects such as ties, hair, necklaces etc away from the shredder as
they may be accidentally entangled with the blades.
3.Please do not put non-paper items such as plastic, cloth etc into the shredder to
prevent damage to the shredder or lowering of shredding performance.
4 Please switch off the shredder and unplug it form the AC outlet before removing
the head unit or waste receptacle for cleaning. Regular cleaning of the waste
receptacle is recommended. |
