Prior to Installation

Make sure that the cold and hot water lines are turned off

Wrap all threaded connections with Teflon tape. Always wrap in a clockwise direction

Cover your drain to avoid losing parts

Do not disassemble the main faucet body, as it has been installed & commissioned correctly & precisely before delivery from the factory

To keep the faucet from jamming, flush the water pipe before installation

Using condition: Working pressure at 0.05-1.0MPa (including cold & hot water pressure) with applicable water temperature: 40C-900C

Remove the check valve assembly (30) at the end of the hose (2)

Remove plastic nut (28) and metal nut (27) from the mounting pipe

Discard plastic caps from the hot and cold inlets

Safety Tips

If soldering the water connections when installing the faucet, remove the

O-rings, cartridges, and washers before applying any heat

Protect your eyes with safety glasses when cutting or soldering

Do not overtighten fixing screws/nuts. Tighten finger-tight, then use a wrench/ screwdriver to tighten the fixing screw/nut until snug

Install the faucet extender (21), rubber u-washer (22), and metal u-washer (23) on the mounting pipe until it touches the base of the countertop. Place metal o-ring (26) and screw metal nut (27) onto the

Tighten the metal nut (27) on the mounting pipe with the provided spanner until snug underneath the countertop. Installer Tip:

Screwdriver can be placed through the opening of the spanner for additional leverage

Place the plastic nut (28) on the mounting pipe and tighten with an adjustable wrench (not included) until snug (Note: The plastic nut only tightens at the end of the mounting pipe)

Screw hot & cold waterlines (29) onto the angle stops and tighten with an adjustable wrench until snug

Turn the faucet on while holding the tip of the hose (2) to flush any debris

Screw the spray head (1) on the hose (2) and hand-tighten only

Leakage under the handle

Water will not shut off completely

Leaking between spray head and the hose

Locking nut has come loose

Cartridge may be defective

Unscrew the joystick on the handle by hand.

Loosen set screw with a hex wrench. Remove the handle and unscrew cartridge holder by hand.

Tighten locking nut with an adjustable wrench or shower wrench (if applicable)

Unscrew the joystick on the handle by hand. Loosen set screw with a hex wrench.

Remove the handle and unscrew cartridge cover by hand. Unscrew the locking nut with an adjustable wrench or shower wrench (if applicable). Remove ceramic disc cartridge. Check for cracks

Spray head may be loose or washer is not seated correctly in the hose connection

Tighten the spray head by hand until snug. Make sure the washer is seated correctly

Low/No pressure Check valve assembly may be clogged with debris or washers are not seated correctly

Remove check valve assembly and soak it in warm soapy water to remove any debris for 5 minutes. Make sure the washers are seated correctly

Kraus warranties this product against defects due to material or craftsmanship error during the warranty period: Kraus will provide replacement parts at no charge, or at its option, replace any product or part of the product that is deemed defective, under normal installation, use, service and maintenance. If

Kraus is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be made in timely fashion, Kraus may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Like other home fixtures, Kraus products will require light maintenance to ensure proper function. We provide you with complete knowledge to perform this maintenance and can also recommend resources if you are unable to fulfill this service.
