Do not use this apparatus near water.

Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Do not install unit near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

9.

Do not defeat the purpose of the polarized or groundingtype plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a grounding prong. The wide blade and third prong are provided for your safety. I the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.

When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/ apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

These indoor domes are compact, stylish surveillance cameras that offer excellent resolution in variable lighting conditions.

The high performance 1/3 inch CCD provides a resolution of

650 TVL. The dome is available in two versions:

VDC-275 Color Indoor Dome

VDN-276 Day/Night Indoor Dome

2.1

The camera is an ideal solution for demanding scene conditions. The Day/Night feature ensures the highest image quality possible at any time. Depending on the available light, the camera automatically switches from color to monochrome.

The camera is easy to install and can be adjusted around 3 axes. Privacy zones and motion detection functions can be set up in the handy camera menu system.

When installing the camera, connect a service monitor to set angle of view and focus of the screen. (This output cannot be used simultaneously with the main video output.)

Move the DIP switch to the LL position to activate Line-lock.

Move the DIP switch to INT position to activate Internal Sync.

Mounting the unit

Camera mounting

To mount the camera:

1.

Stick the guide pattern on the surface of installation.

2.

Drill holes as per the guide pattern and insert anchors into the mounting holes.

3.

Connect the power/video cables and feed the excessive cable length into the surface

4.

Mount the camera base on the installation surface using the three screws supplied.

5.

Adjust the focus and 3 axis bracket to obtain desired image scene.

6.

Align the dome cover over the base on the marks and snap it in.

7.

Adjust the dome cover and make sure it is properly closed.

Speed: sets the convergence speed 0 to 255 of the mechanical iris (a value between 50 and 150 is recommended).

BLC: backlight compensation lightens the darker part of the image.

7 Troubleshooting

7.1

Indoor Dome Camera

Resolving problems

The following table is intended to help identify the causes of malfunctions and correct them where possible.

Malfunction

The image on the screen is dim.

Solution

No image on screen. Check that the power cord and line connection between the camera and monitor are fixed properly.

Check that you have properly connected

VIDEO cable to the camera VIDEO output jack.

Is lens stained with dirt? Clean your lens with soft, clean cloth.

Ensure the monitor is set up correctly.

The image on the screen is dark.

The camera is not working properly, and its surface is hot.

The image on the screen flickers.

If the camera is exposed to strong light, change its position.

Adjust the focus.

Adjust the contrast of the monitor.

If you have an intermediate device, set the 75 Ohm / Hi-z correctly.

Check that you have properly connected the camera to an appropriate power source.

Check whether the camera is exposed to strong sunlight or fluorescent lighting.
