Tate Airflow products are engineered to maximize the efficiency of your data center air handling system by isolating cold supply and hot exhaust airflow. Safety

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when drilling, cutting, or installing. PPE includes gloves, safety eyeglasses, hardhats, etc.

Do not leave the site unattended until the installation is complete.

Included Components

• 1 x 4’ Long Header Rail

• 1 x Straight Connector w/ Color Matching Thumb Screws

• 2 x Ceiling Grid Connector

• 1 x 4’ Long Vinyl Pivot and Grip Bracket

1. For a single partition kit, you will receive one (1) cardboard box. Included components:

1 x header bar

2 x ceiling grid connector

1 x sheet of fire resistant vinyl

1 x straight connector w/ color matching thumb screws

Decide where you want to position your partition on the drop ceiling T grid. Twist the ceiling grid connector onto the T grid.

Place the second ceiling grid connector on the drop ceiling T grid.

Install the header bar. Slide the recessed side of the header bar into the ceiling connectors using

Tate’s unique pivot and grip method.

The image shown below is taken from behind the partition (or inside the aisle). The smooth side should be facing out.

Unwrap the vinyl to expose the aluminum section at the top. Slide this bar into the back of the header bar, using the same pivot and grip technique. It will lock into place. Allow the vinyl to hang.

To add additional header bars to the partition, link them with the straight connector.

8. Hang the header bar on the ceiling grid connectors as before. No vinyl is attached at this point on the second header piece.

The straight connector should be positioned to slide into the previously hung header bar.

10. Slide the connector bar together and tighten with the thumb screws. It will lock together.

Hang the vinyl as before on the second header section.

12. Ensure that the 2 header pieces are tight together and that the vinyl overlaps to prevent air leakage.

The corner kit comes pre-assembled and connects to the ceiling grid connectors using the same method as with the standard straight header pieces.

14. Cut the vinyl to length as necessary for your installation. To cut, mark the vinyl and cut along a straight edge.

Complete! The soft partition has been successfully installed.
