1. REGISTERING FOR THE VOLUNTEER PORTAL
There are two ways in which you can register for access to the Portal;
a. Direct Registration (Easy) -
refer to page 2 for instructions
This is a similar process to how volunteers have previously registered on the Volunteer
Portal and requires a volunteer to have a Volunteer ID number.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Before proceeding with direct registration, please ensure you have access to your nominated personal email address throughout the registration process.
b. Via a Third Party Account (Advanced) -
refer page 11 for instructions
For volunteers who use social media sites (referred to in this guide as third party
accounts) such as Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Windows Live, there is an option to link future Portal logins with one of these nominated accounts. This will enable
Volunteers to gain access to the Portal with the username and password of their nominated third party account.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If volunteers choose to register for the Portal using one of the third party providers, password resets must be performed through the nominated Third Party account.
