Inbetriebnahme Digitalisierungsbox Premium
Automatische Konfiguration
Die Automatische Konfiguration ist ein Service für Kunden der Telekom, den Sie mit Ihrer
Digitalisierungsbox nutzen können.
Verbinden Sie die Digitalisierungsbox mit dem Stromnetz. Schließen Sie die Kabel an die dafür vorgesehenen Dosen/Buchsen an. Warten Sie, bis die Service-LED nicht mehr leuchtet.
Starten Sie einen Internet-Browser, geben Sie telekom.de
in die Adresszeile ein und bestätigen Sie mit der Eingabetaste. Sie werden auf die Autokonfigurationsseite der Telekom weitergeleitet. Geben Sie Ihre Zugangskennung und Ihr Passwort ein und klicken Sie auf
Konfiguration starten. Während der Konfiguration leuchtet die Service-LED.
Warten Sie, bis Sie die Bestätigung angezeigt bekommen, dass die Konfiguration erfolgreich war. Die Service-LED ist nun aus.
Falls diese Webseite nicht erscheint, überprüfen Sie zunächst die Verkabelung.
Systemvoraussetzungen
Für die Konfiguration des Systems müssen folgende Systemvoraussetzungen
erfüllt sein:
Betriebssystem Microsoft Windows ab Windows XP SP3; Windows XP SP3

Internet Explorer ab Version 7 oder 9 (bei Bedarf sind die Sicherheits-

PC zum automatischen Bezug von IP-Adresse und DNS-Server konfiguriert
Hohe Farbanzeige (mehr als 256 Farben) für die korrekte Darstellung der Grafik
Betriebsmodus wählen
Fall 1: Wenn das Passwort noch nicht geändert worden ist, haben Sie nach dem Login die
Möglichkeit den Betriebsmodus zu wählen.
Fall 2: Wenn das Passwort schon geändert ist, ist das System ab Werk als Telefonanlage konfiguriert.
Sie können auch im Menü Assistenten Ô Erste Schritte Ô Betriebsart den
Betriebsmodus ändern. Beachten Sie, dass dann nicht mehr alle Leistungsmerkmale zur
Verfügung stehen. Montage und die Grundkonfiguration sind identisch.
Beim Umschalten von Telefonanlage auf Media Gateway oder von Media Gateway auf Telefonanlage führt das System einen Factory Reset durch.
Das bedeutet, dass das System in den Auslieferungszustand versetzt wird.
Die Konfiguration wird gelöscht und alle Passwörter werden zurückgesetzt.

Sicherheitshinweise
Der Reset wird über den Reset-Knopf an der Anschlussseite durchgeführt.
Bei einem kurzen Tastendruck (ca. eine Sekunde), wird das System neu gestartet. Dieser
Tastendruck entspricht einer Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung. Die gespeicherten Daten bleiben erhalten, aber alle Verbindungen werden unterbrochen.
Drücken Sie die Reset-Taste für ca. 30 Sekunden, führt das System einen Factory Reset durch. Dies bedeutet, dass das System in den Auslieferungszustand zurückversetzt wird.
Die Verbindungsdaten ein- und ausgehender Telefonate werden dabei nicht gelöscht. Die
Konfiguration wird gelöscht, und alle Passwörter werden zurückgesetzt.
Der Reset ist beendet, wenn nach ca. 30 Sekunden die Status-LED wieder gleichmäßig blinkt.
ISDN-Anschluss
Die Schalter für die Terminierung der ISDN-Schnittstellen befinden sich im Boden / in der
Unterschale. Im Auslieferungszustand sind beide Schalter auf ON gestellt. Damit ist die
Terminierung aktiv und das System für den Betrieb mit allen gängigen Anwendungen vorkonfiguriert.

Aufgrund der Platzierung der Geräte im Netzwerkschrank, empfiehlt es sich auf abgesetzte
Antennen zurückzugreifen. Montieren Sie die Montagewinkel mit den im Set beiliegenden
Schrauben am Gehäuse fest.
Die Montagewinkel und die Schrauben sind als Zubehör erhältlich (Artikelnummer MN40285514).
Bei Betrieb im Netzwerkschrank darf die Umgebungstemperatur 40 °C nicht übersteigen!

Die LEDs sind mit den LEDs auf der Vorderseite gekoppelt und zeigen das gleiche Leuchtverhalten.
Das System wird mit der zum Zeitpunkt der Produktion aktuellen Systemsoftwareversion geliefert.
Die Systemsoftware wird fortwährend weiterentwickelt, um die Sicherheit und Funktionsvielfalt des Systems zu erhöhen. Während der ersten Inbetriebnahme werden Sie ggf. dazu aufgefordert, eine Aktualisierung der Software anzustoßen. Sollte Ihnen die Automatische Konfiguration der Telekom zur Verfügung stehen, wird die Systemsoftware Ihres Systems automatisch auf dem neuesten Stand gehalten.
Alternativ können Sie eine Software-Aktualisierung in der Ansicht Benutzer durchführen.
Sie benötigen eine funktionsfähige Internetverbindung, um das System über diese Option aktualisieren zu können.
Klicken Sie unter Systemsoftware-Aktualisierung auf die Schaltfläche Aktualisierung, um den
Vorgang zu starten. Unterbrechen Sie weder die Internetverbindung noch die Stromversorgung.
Nach der Installation einer neuen Systemsoftware müssen Sie das System neu starten.
Falls ein Fehler während des Aktualisierungsprozesses aufgetreten ist, starten Sie das
System nicht neu und kontaktieren Sie den Kundenservice.

Automatic configuration
Automatic configuration is a service for Telekom customers that you can use with your
Digitalisierungsbox.
Connect the Digitalisierungsbox to the mains. Connect the cables to the appropriate sockets/ jacks. Wait until the Service LED goes out.
Start an Internet browser, enter telekom.de in the address bar and confirm with the Return key.
You are redirected to the Telekom autoconfiguration page. Enter your access ID and your password and click on Start Configuration. During automatic configuration, the Service LED will light up.
Wait until a confirmation is displayed that the configuration has been successful. The Service
LED is no longer lit now.
If the Telekom webpage does not open, first check all cabling.
System requirements
For the configuration of the device, the following system requirements must be met:

Select operating mode
Case 1: If the password has not yet been changed, you can select the operating mode once you log in.
Case 2: If the password has been changed, the device has been configured as a telephone system ex works.
You can also change operating mode in the menu Assistants Ô First Steps Ô Operating
Mode. Note that some features will not then be available. Assembly and the basic configuration are exactly the same.
If you switch from telephone system to media gateway or from media gateway to telephone system, the device does a factory reset.
This means that the device reverts to condition it was in when it was supplied.
The configuration is deleted and all the passwords are reset.

The reset is performed by using the reset button at the terminal area.
The device is rebooted by quickly pressing the key (ca. one second). Pressing the key is equivalent to an interruption of the power supply. Saved data are preserved, but all connections are interrupted.
If you press the reset key for approx. 30 seconds, the device performs a factory reset. This means the device is returned to its ex works state. Connection data for incoming and outgoing phone calls are preserved. The configuration is deleted and all passwords are reset.
The reset has finished once the status LED flashes continuously again after approx. 30 seconds.

ISDN connection
The switches for terminating the ISDN interfaces can be found on the bottom / in the lower housing. Both switches are set to ON ex works. This means that termination is enabled and the device is preconfigured for the operation of all common applications.

Due to the position of the devices in a rack it is recommended to use remote antenna. Attach the mounting brackets to the device using the supplied screws.
The mounting brackets and screws are available as an accessory (Part No. MN40285514).
During operation in a rack the ambient temperature must not exceed 40° C.
Software Update
The device is delivered with the system software version which is current at the time of production. The system software is continually being upgraded to improve the security and functionality of the device. When you first start the device, you may be prompted to update the software. If you have access to Telekom's automatic configuration, the system software for your device will automatically be updated to the latest version.
Alternatively, you can update the software in the User view. To use this option to update the system, you require a functioning Internet connection.
Under Firmware Update, click Update to start the process.
Do not interrupt either the power supply or the internet connection.
Whenever new system software has been installed, you need to restart the device.
Should an error occur during the update process, do not restart the device and contact customer service.
