Customer
Prerequisites
To export measurements from the Essilor devices, the device must be networked and have access to a
shared network folder. Refer to your device user guide for full networking setup instructions.
Recommended Network Folder Share Configuration
Because the m’eyeFit is a tablet device, it exports its settings to a shared network folder located on a PC
or server within your office network. The Visioffice can be configured to share its own local
import/export folder. Each device exports a file with an .OMA extension, containing the measurement
data. This data can then be imported into RevolutionEHR during the ordering process.

Setting up a Shared Network Folder
Locate an appropriate Windows server or PC that is connected to your office network and can share a
folder with other users on the network. Because there are many different ways to configure Windows
file sharing, this document will only show one possible method. Additional questions regarding setting
up a networked file share should be addressed to your IT staff.
1. For m’eyeFit: Create a new folder on the server or PC in the desired location
For Visioffice: Create the folder C:\OMA on the Visioffice PC, if the folder does not yet exist
2. Right click on the folder to be shared, and select “Properties”:
3. Click on the “Sharing” tab, and then click on the “Share…” button:

4. Select the users or Homegroup you wish to share this folder with. For the m’eyeFit device,
make sure you provide Read/Write access permissions so the files can be exported from the
device.

Visioffice Configuration
RevolutionEHR has developed a small software update to automatically configure the Visioffice device
for exporting measurements to RevolutionEHR.
Download this software from this web page onto your Visioffice device:
http://insight.revolutionehr.com/wp-content/uploads/RevolutionEHR-VisiofficeInstaller.msi
Execute the installer. If you are prompted, allow the software to make changes to your computer. After
successfully installing this software, restart the Visioffice software. You should now be able to use the
“Export” button to export measurements to RevolutionEHR. Those measurements will be exported to
the C:\OMA folder on the Visioffice device.
m’eyeFit Configuration
The m’eyeFit device must be running software version 2.5 or higher. If your device is running an earlier
version of the m’eyeFit software, contact Essilor for assistance in upgrading.
The network disk configuration of the m’eyeFit can be found from the Settings menu on the m’eyeFit
device under Import/Export settings. In order to export the device measurements from the m’eyeFit,
you will configure Import/Export for the “PMS Out” option as the ordering system provider.
There are two methods to set up the m’eyeFit export location:
1) Enter an ID and password in the “ID” and “Authentication” fields (optional), and select a folder
on the m’eyeFit device to be shared. In this case you would browse to the shared folder on the
m’eyeFit device from your computer that is running RevolutionEHR in order to upload the
exported OMA files to RevolutionEHR.
2) Use the network disk option to connect the m’eyeFit device to a shared folder on your network.
In this case you would browse to the shared folder on your network from the computer that is
running RevolutionEHR in order to upload the exported OMA files to RevolutionEHR. The
network disk creation icon can be found at the bottom of the Import/Export settings screen.

RevolutionEHR Workflow – Managing Measurements
If you upload the wrong measurement to an order, you can use the “x” button to remove the
association of the measurement with the order. That measurement will still exist in the RevolutionEHR
system, and can be found (and associated with the correct order) by using the search button on the
“Device Measurements” screen:
The search screen will show any measurements from the past two weeks that are currently not
associated with any order. You can modify the date range for the search if you want to locate older
unassigned measurements. Once a measurement is associated with an order, it will no longer be shown
in the search screen.
RevolutionEHR Workflow – Measurements Associated With Orders
When an order is canceled, any associated measurement will be removed from the order and treated as
an unassigned measurement. It can be used on a new order by locating it using the search screen.
When an order is remade, duplicated, or changed, any associated measurement from the original order
will be duplicated on the new order and automatically associated with the new order. You can then
manage this duplicated measurement on the new order if desired, by removing it, uploading a different
measurement, or leaving it as-is, depending on your needs for that specific order.
