Known Issue:

Changing some settings (VLAN, link aggregation, or other complex settings) will cause
system suspended when continuously sending unresolved source packets of 1Mbps
64-Byte length. This situation will be recovered after stopping the traffic.
The default gateway must be set in the configuration.
The device may be abnormal when learning more than 1000 multicast groups on it.

When changing OSPF settings, rebooting device is recommended to ensure it works
normally.
The weighting of WFQ is more precise for short packets than long packets.

IP address could be set to class A, B and C
When setting the VLAN IP with the original one but different subnet mask, it would apply
the new setting.
The device could be set 74 chars on port list
Default VLAN cannot be deleted when user restores configuration file.
Configuration file restore fail.
The device could be accessed if set SNMP trap destination.
Use CPU MAC as the source MAC for IGMP outgoing packets.
In the IP setup of basic setting, the invalid value in VID can be deleted after system
reset and there is error message to indicate that the VID is invalid.
DSCP function work abnormal.
Reduce queueing ARP packets in device (maximum 3 ARP for every single source and
single destination).
The Time Server IP could support URL format.

Firmware Upgrade:
The ES-4024A uses FTP to upgrade firmware in run-time through its built-in FTP server. You
can use any FTP client (for example, ftp.exe in Windows) to upgrade ES-4024A. The upgrade
procedure is as follows:
Upgrade ES-4024A FW:
C:\> ftp <ES-4024A IP address>
User : <Enter>
Password: 1234

Where
• User name : just press <Enter>
• Password : the management password, 1234 by default
• 350TV0C0.bin : the name of firmware file you want to upgrade
• ras : the internal firmware name in ES-4024A
Configuration Upgrade:
The ES-4024A uses FTP to upgrade configuration in run-time through its built-in FTP server.
