Conventional Control Panel
The Ampac ZoneSense PLUS Fire Alarm Control Panel is a versatile four or eight zone
conventional panel. The user friendly navigation system provides simple operation
during an emergency while also enabling complex cause and effect programming to be
undertaken. A range of modular panel add-on kits allows the panel to be professionally
tailored to the requirements of each installation. This means small conventional panels
can now be used in a wider range of applications. ZoneSense PLUS offers you complete
control. The panel can be easily upgraded and programmed on site. ZoneSense PLUS
has been designed not just for today, but for the future and incorporates many features
that can be enhanced over the life of the system if and when required.
•Programming via front panel – 8 x 2 line LCD, a set of navigation keys and the Menu/
Enter key allow the ZoneSense PLUS to be programmed on site
•
Fault diagnostics – via the LCD provides detailed system information
•Zone configuration - each zone can be programmed to be normal, non latching, self
resetting, Alarm Verification Facility, or agent release activation
•End of line device selection – up to four (4) resistor values can be selected to match
the existing value on retrofit installations. Capacitive EOL is also available
•
Individual zones, monitored outputs and relay outputs can be isolated
•Output status – the current status of all relay outputs can be displayed on the LCD
•
Zone description – every zone can have a 13 character descriptor
•Password protection – there are three levels of access

Conventional Agent Release Panel
GasRelease is the new compact conventional 3 zone fire control panel that includes
additional circuitry for controlling the release of extinguishing agents into protected
areas. Fully compliant with EN12094-1, GasRelease is ideal for applications housing
expensive, dangerous or irreplaceable items. Supported by a wide range of ancillaries,
GasRelease is a powerful partner for automatic fire suppression systems.

Functions as a standard three zone fire panel with additional circuitry for controlling
the release of fire-suppressing gas into protected areas

Unique 128 x 64 pixel graphical display facilitates straightforward system
programming
Includes a pull-down front panel manual release button and two keyswitches for

• Three conventional sounder circuits (two x 1st stage, one x 2nd stage)

Series 65 Standard Base
The Series 65 Standard Base has been designed to enable detectors to
be fitted without the need for force – particularly useful when fitting to
suspended ceilings. All Series 65 bases have a one way fit and can be
locked into place by a grub screw using a 1.5mm hexagonal screwdriver.

Intelligent Interfaces
Apollo manufactures a comprehensive range of interfaces for intelligent systems which
enable fire protection systems to be engineered simply and effectively without the
need for custom-designed equipment. There are a variety of interfaces available to suit
a number of individual applications.
Standard Interfaces with Isolators are fitted with bi-directional short-circuit isolators
so that they are unaffected by a single short circuit on either loop input or output.
However, the Input/Output Unit and Output Unit with isolator are exceptions to this.
The removal of loop power to these interfaces will cause a ‘set’ relay to ‘reset’.
DIN-Rail Interfaces feature enclosures that clip to standard 35mm DIN-Rails or are
screwed to the base of a larger enclosure. They enable fire system designers to
determine the functions required and create multi-purpose interfaces for individual
sites.

Wireless Technology
Traditionally, fire detection systems in industrial and commercial applications have
used hard wired installations. These systems are generally installed at the time of
construction or refurbishment, making the laying of cables not a great issue. However,
ceratin applications do not lend themselves to this approach, such as occupied
buildings, heritage sites, architecturally sensitive buildings and annexes. This is where
wireless systems provide the ideal solution.
Xpander is a system in which individual detectors, call points and alarm devices
communicate with the XP95 loop by radio signals. An interface is connected to the
loop in the same way as any other interface, such as an input/output unit. The Xpander
range benefits from the patented XPERT technology that is used in Discovery and XP95.

MultiAmp-DH 250mA
The MultiAmp-DH 250mA Door Holder Supply (DHS) provides up to
250mA of current at 24 VDC to operate door holders. The unit can operate
as an “Automatic Door Release System” (ADRS) or respond to a secondary
control.
When configured as an ADRS, conventional detectors are installed and
connected directly to the DHS. The detection circuit is monitored for
alarm, open, or short circuit conditions. Any one of these conditions will
deactivate the supply to the door holders and cause doors to be released.
Alternatively doors may be released by a switched DC input to the DHS,
derived normally from a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) or security system.
The switched DC input must be between 8 to 30VDC to release the doors.

The MultiAmp PSU is a general purpose regulated power supply unit.

A set of two 7Ahr batteries may be housed in the BX1 and BX10 standard
cabinet and a set of two 12Ahr batteries in the BX10 deep cabinet.
(Maximum size based on Ampac battery specifications)
The unit incorporates temperature sensing and compensation whereby a
change in ambient temperature adjusts the battery charging voltage.
The power supply will signal a Low Battery fault at 21.3 VDC.

Document Cabinets
AMPAC offers ABS and metal document cabinets designed to complement
the range of AMPAC’s fire control panels. The cabinets can hold in excess of
100 A4 sheets of fire and security information relevant to the premises.
The cabinets are fitted with a lockable front door for security and comes
complete with an internal key holder bracket to allow easy storage of
security keys. Whilst the ABS cabinet is available only in cool grey, there
is a choice of Oyster Grey or Arch White with the metal cabinet option.

Genesis NP Sealed Rechargeable Lead-Acid Batteries
The Genesis range has become the standard for all applications requiring a
small, reliable rechargeable power source. The wide range of sizes coupled
with good cycling ability make the Genesis NP perfect for critical systems
such as fire alarm and emergency warning systems. Designed using VRLA
technology, negating the need to add water, these batteries by EnerSys
can be applied in many critical systems requiring reliable reserve power.
Available as 12V monoblocs, the batteries have a capacity range of 1.2 to
24Ah.
