For your own safety, only use accessories and additional devices that are expressly specified in the operating instructions or recommended by the manufacturer. Risk of accidents due to electric shock If no arc is burning, there is no-load voltage U 0 between the earth terminal and the electrode holder. This voltage can be life-threatening if the welder touches the metal clamping jaws of the electrode holder and the workpiece with bare hands. It is therefore essential to observe the following information: Always wear protective gloves made of insulating material. Always wear suitable clothing. Avoid clothing made of plastic and never weld with a bare torso. Wear solid, insulating footwear. Make sure that the soles are never nailed. Never sit or lie down on metal without a pad made of insulating material. Check the condition of the cables before each use. Do not use the device if the cables are damaged. Risk of accident due to lack of air Significant amounts of smoke and gas are produced during welding. Make sure that smoke and gases can always escape through a suitable opening. But never add oxygen. This increases the risk of fire. Danger of accidents from the rays of the arc: The glaring light of the arc and the ultraviolet rays released can damage the eyes. Always wear a suitable protective shield with standardized anti-glare glass to protect your eyes. Risk of accident from spraying sparks: The spraying welding sparks can cause painful burns. Therefore, it is essential to observe the following information: ◦ Always wear a leather apron and leather gloves. ◦ Wear suitable headgear when welding overhead. ◦ Let your pant legs fall over your shoes. ◦ Wear sturdy, insulating shoes. Risk of accident due to slag particle splashes The slag is hard and brittle after it has solidified. The slag hammer will then break it into sharp-edged particles that can dangerously injure the eyes. You should therefore protect your eyes when removing the slag with suitable protective goggles. © by WilTec Wildanger Technik GmbH http://www.WilTec.de http://www.aoyue.eu http://www.teichtip.de Item 61707, 61708 Page 4 02 2021-1 Risk of fire from spraying sparks If the molten or glowing metal and slag particles fall on flammable substances, they can ignite and cause a fire. Therefore, remove all flammable objects from your work area before starting welding work. Pay particular attention to the following materials: paper rags textiles wood and wood fibres rubber plastic petrol oils tar-like substances paints and solvents Risk of explosion Both the welding sparks and the highly heated welding point itself can cause explosions. Therefore, do not use the device in an explosive environment in which there are substances such as flammable liquids, gases and paint mist. – Also note: Remove the electrode from the electrode clamps immediately after finishing your welding work in order to avoid unwanted arcing. When the welding machine is in operation, do not place the electrode tongs on the welding machine itself or on any other electrical device. Before finishing your welding work, do not touch the electrode itself or any other metal object that is in contact with the electrode. After finishing your work, let the device run for a few minutes before you disconnect it from the power supply. Description of the product The TIG 180/200 devices are single process argon-arc welders. Outer characteristics of this welding machine are ◦ continuous current and an arc drive controlling ◦ constant current characteristics: when arc voltage is normal, it guarantees that welding current will not be changed with arc length. The current will become higher and higher with arc voltage down-slope. When arc voltage is too low, it will lead to an arc length that will return into normal range. When arc voltage is too low to support the arc, voltage will down slope immediately in order to protect from splashing which is caused by a short circuit. ◦ continuous current: The welding current will not change arc length, so that the current is very stabilizing .When electrode circuit is short, current will declined to 0 automatically in order to protect tungsten and work piece. This arc welding machine has characteristics as following: ◦ high quality ◦ stable arc ◦ molten bath easy to control ◦ no-load voltage is higher ◦ wide application range: suitable for high-altitude and outdoor work and inside or outside mounting ◦ lightweight ◦ simple installation and operation Caution: The user is not permitted to dismantle, rebuild or replace electrical components himself. Oth erwise the guarantee of the device will expire. © by WilTec Wildanger Technik GmbH http://www.WilTec.de http://www.aoyue.eu http://www.teichtip.de Item 61707, 61708 Page 5 02 2021-1 Data and characteristics Model TIG180 TIG200 Item number 61707 61708 Power voltage (V) 230 230 Frequency (Hz) 50 50 Input current (A) 180 200 No-load voltage (V) 65 65 Output current adjustment range (A) 10–180 10–200 Rate of work voltage (V) 17 18 Duty cycle (%) 60 60 No-load loss (W) 40 60 Pilot arc model HF HF Efficiency (%) 80 80 Power factor 0.93 0.93 Isolation class H H Protection type IP21S IP21S Weight (kg) 10 11 Total dimensions (mm) 465×255×330 465×255×330 Parts list № Name № Name 1 Indicator light 6 Air plug 2 Welding current adjustment 7 Connection for electrode clip 3 Temperature light 8 Negative output terminal 4 Release time adjustment 9 MMA/TIG switch 5 Positive output termnal 10 Digital spectrum display © by WilTec Wildanger Technik GmbH http://www.WilTec.de http://www.aoyue.eu http://www.teichtip.de Item 61707, 61708 Page 6 02 2021-1 Installation If you want to use a longer cable, please choose a cable with a larger cross-section to avoid voltage drops. If the torch cable is too long, it may interfere with the operation of the arc and other functions of the system. For this reason, we recommend that the user stick to the length recommended by the manufacturer. Connecting the input cable Every welding machine has a power cable that must be connected to the respective voltage according to the input voltage. If a single-phase 230 V DC power cord is negligently connected to the 380 V AC power cord, the power switch will be set to the overvoltage protection position. Please turn off the power supply first, then connect the machine to a voltage of 220 V; then turn it back on. The input voltage must be single-phase 230 V. Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the power switch or plug and prevent oxid ation. Check whether the line voltage is within the wave range. Connecting the output cable When using argon arc welding devices, please connect them as described above. When using impact mode, keep the following in mind: Each machine has a pair of movable plugs. The cable of the welding handle is connected to the black movable plug; the other connection of the earthing clamp is connected to the red movable plug. After that, they need to be tightened. Make sure that the secondary cables (handle cables and ground cables) are securely connec ted to the movable connector. Insert the mobile plug into the mobile socket and tighten it. Otherwise, the plug and socket will be burned if, for example, the current is too high or the operating time is too long. Pay attention to the electrode of the connection cable. There are two types of connection: positive connection and negative connection. The positive connection is when the workpiece is connected to positive electricity and the torch handle is connected to a negative electrode; the negative connection is when the workpiece is connected to negative electricity and the torch handle is connected to a positive electrode. Open the valve of the argon bottle and adjust the volume of the flow meter. The interaxial axial fan now starts to work. Press the burner control button to start the electro magnetic valve. The user can hear the sound of HF arcing and at the same time the argon begins to flow from the torch nozzle. The arc thrust button is used to set the welding function, especially in a low current range, which interacts with the welding current setting button. These can adjust the current of the arc and are beyond the control of the welding current setting rotary knob. This allows the machine to generate powerful energy and the pressure current can achieve an effect that can mimic the rotation of a DC welding machine. The distance from the welding electrode to the workpiece must be 2–4 mm. Then you have to press the control button. When burning and hitting the arc, the noise of the HF arc is reduced. The welding machine can now be operated. Description of the strike mode Open the power switch on the front control panel to activate the fan. Make sure that the function switch is at the bottom. Set the welding current according to the thickness of the workpiece. Set the characteristic welding line with the drive button. Note: Do not touch any cables or plugs while the machine is in operation, as this can result in damage to the health of persons or damage to the machine. Maintenance Remove dust with dry and clean compressed air. If the welding machine is operated in an environment with polluted air or smoke, the machine must be de-dusted daily. The pressure of the compressed air must be within a reasonable range to prevent damage to small components of the machine parts inside the device. Regularly check the intermediate circuit of the welding machine and make sure that the cable circuit is correctly connected and that the plugs are firmly connected (especially connectors and components). If any debris and loose parts are found, please sand them well and then reattach them firmly. Avoid getting water and steam into the machine. Should they penetrate, please dry the ma chine and then check the insulation of the machine again (also between the connectors and the jacket and between the connectors and connections). If the welding machine is not used for a long time, it must be packed up and stored in a dry place. © by WilTec Wildanger Technik GmbH http://www.WilTec.de http://www.aoyue.eu http://www.teichtip.de Item 61707, 61708 Page 8 02 2021-1 Troubleshooting Regular inspection and maintenance by a specialist is recommended. Check that the electrical cable network (connected to the input cable) is in operation. Check if the input cable is out of order. You may have incorrectly connected the device to the 380 V so that the machine is in the protective circuit. Connect the device to a 220 V power supply and turn it on again. The 220 V power supply is not stable (the input cable is too thin) or the input cable is connected to an electrified cable network, which means that the machine is in the protection circuit. Add a section of wire and firmly insert the input connector. Switch the machine off for 2–3 min and then on again. The cable from the switch to the control panel is loose; fix. Switch the machine on and off several times because it is in the protective circuit. Switch the machine off for 2–3 min and then on again. The 24 V relay of the main circuit of the power control panel is not closed or is damaged. Check the 24 V power source and relay. If the relay is damaged, replace it with a new one of the same construction. Positive and negative electrodes of the voltage of the component VH-07 should be approximately DC 308 V from the power switch panel to the MOS board. ◦ When the circuit is broken and the silicon bridge has poor contact. ◦ If some of the four highly electrolytic (approx. 470 UF/ 450 V) mains switch panel capacitors are leaking. Green display in the auxiliary voltage of the MOS board; if it is not switched on, the auxiliary voltage is out of service; check the point of failure and contact the seller. Check whether the connectors are making bad contact. Check the control circuit and find out the reasons for the failure or contact the seller. Check whether the burner control cable is defective. Check whether the torch cable is defective. Check whether the earth cable is interrupted or not connected to the welding part. The output connection of the positive electrode or the torch power supply is disconnected from the machine. The primary cable of the arc quenching transformer is not firmly connected to the power supply; tie it back on tightly.
