INTRODUCTION
The Vaniman Flex Hose Plus Kit is an easy way to provide a convenient and effective dust collecting
station to the top or the front of your work surface. Using the mounting bracket attachment is made simple
and easy. The Flex Hose Kit can be clamped onto the front of most work benches if no hole is available.
It can be positioned in many ways to collect dust, chips, mist, fumes and be pushed out of the way when
not in use.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack the contents of the box and check the parts against the parts list and illustration above.
2. First, decide how you would like to connect the unit to your work area. There are two options:
A. Tabletop Mount: Remove the metal Table Front Clamp from the Mounting Plate. Use the Mounting
Plate as a guide to mark and drill a 3.5" hole at the desired location. After the hole is drilled, use
the four mounting screws to secure the bracket to the table top. Once the bracket is secure, insert
the protruding adapter end of the Rigid Capture Hose into the bracket hole so that the bracket key
aligns with the keyway in the hose adapter. Once the black hose end meets the top of the bracket,
twist the black hose end clockwise (looking down on the bracket) until tight.
B. Table Front Mount: Loosen the screws on the Table Front Clamp and slide over the front of table.
Tighten the screws to desired tightness. Insert the protruding adapter end of the Rigid Capture
Hose into the bracket hole so that the bracket key aligns with the keyway in the hose adapter.
Once the black hose end meets the top of the bracket, twist the black hose end clockwise (looking
down on the bracket) until tight.

3. Align the two keys of the hose nozzle with the keyways in the free end of the hose. Slide the nozzle
into the hose, then twist clockwise until you feel it click. Adjust the hose to the desired position.
4. If using Vaniman's 2.5" white hose (VMC-1023) to connect from the Flex Hose Plus Kit to your dust
collector, insert the supplied adapter into the hose through the underside of the table so that the black
portion of the adapter is oriented towards the ground. The 2.5" hose will slip into that black portion of
the adapter.
5. If you want to hard plumb your Flex Hose Plus Kit to your dust collector, do not use the supplied adapter.
The bottom of the hose will accept standard 2.5" PVC pipe or 2.5" PVC bushing.
