regulation. There may be limited information online regarding Lift Laws. Before installing this
product, be sure to check with your state or provincial motor vehicle safety department to ensure your vehicle is
street legal.
NOTICE
In Canada:
Check government ordinances before you modify your vehicle. Lifting or leveling a vehicle must abide by SAAQ
regulations and you must submit an application for a modified vehicle to obtain a certificate of inspection.

After you have completed modifications, you are required to make an appointment for inspection and obtain a modified vehicle record. Keep a copy of the certificate of inspection in the vehicle and present it to officials upon request.
NOTICE
In addition to ensuring your vehicle is street legal, vehicle modifications may change affect your
insurance coverage. Contact your insurance provider to ensure your coverage will remain valid.
Modifications made to your vehicle suspension may void any vehicle suspension or powertrain
warranties provided by the dealer or manufacturer. Check with your dealer or vehicle manufacturer prior to making any modifications.
NOTICE
INSTALLATION
FRONT LIFT INSTALLATION
Installation is best performed using a two-post vehicle
lift with safety jacks. Use a jack if a vehicle lift is not
available.
1. Park the vehicle on a clean FLAT surface such as
a concrete or asphalt surface.
2. Set the steering wheel so that the wheels are
straight.
3. Engage the parking brake, then chock the rear
wheels for safety.
4. Disconnect power at the ground terminal on the
battery.
5. Raise the front of the vehicle using a jack and
place jack stands under the frame of the vehicle
behind the front wheels.
6. Carefully lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.
7. Use a lug wrench or impact wrench with an
inmpact socket to remove the front wheels/tires.
8. Remove the sway bar from the lower control arm
and retain all hardware.
9. Remove the bracket that holds the brake line
against the frame and retain all hardware.
10. Remove the lower shock bolt and retain all
hardware. It may be necessary to use a jack and
apply slight upward pressure on the lower control
arm to relieve pressure on the shock absorber
and to prevent the control arm from dropping
when the the bolt is removed.
11. Release the slight upward pressure on the jack
and remove the jack from under the control arm.
12. Push the lower control arm down and remove the
coil spring and spring isolator.
13. Install one of the Front Lifting Spacers ① onto the

upper coil mount, then place the spring isolator
onto the upper coil mount.
14. Reinstall the coil spring. Note: it may be necessary to compress the spring. Use a pair of coil
spring compressors while following the coil spring
compressor safety guidelines and instructions.
15. Once the coil spring is installed, rotate the spring
until the end of the spring sits against the spring
stop.
16. Use one of the Brake Line Extenders ⑤ and use
the retained hardware to mount the extender to
the frame.Leave the bolt loose.
17. Use one Washer ⑨ under the head of a 1/4”-20 x
1” Bolt ⑦, and mount the brake line to the Brake
Line Extender using another Washer ⑨ under the
1/4”-20 Nut ⑧.
18. Tighten the bolts on the Brake Line Extender to
the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended torque.
19. Install the Front Shock Bracket ③ onto the lower
control arm using one Washer ⑫ under the head
of a 5/16”-18 x 3/4” Bolt ⑩ and another Washer
⑫ under a 5/16”-18 Nut ⑪. Tighten the bolt and
nut to 160 inch-pounds.
20. Use the M12-1.75 x 65mm Bolt ⑮ with a
Lockwasher ⑰ and Wahser ⑱ under a nut to
secure the Front Shock Bracket ③ to the lower
control arm. Tighten to 60 foot-pounds.
21. Install the shock onto the Front Shock Bracket ③
using the retained hardware. Once again, it may
be necessary to use a jack to apply slight upward
pressure on the lower control arm. Be sure not
to over extend the jack and lift the vehicle off the
jack stand. Tighten the bolt to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended torque.

22. Repeat steps 8 through 22 for the other side.
Re-install the wheels/tires and tighten the lug nuts
to the manufacturer’s recommended torque.
23. Raise the Front of the vehicle using a jack and
remove the jack stands.
24. Lower the vehicle so that it is resting on the
ground, and remove the jack.
25. After the vehicle is on the ground, install the sway
bar links using the retained hardware.DO NOT
INSTALL THE SWAY BAR WHILE VEHICLE IS
STILL ON JACK STANDS: VEHICLE MUST BE
SITTING ON GROUND TO COMPLETE THIS
STEP.
26. Adjust the drag link to center the steering wheel
BEFORE the vehicle is driven. Failure to make
this adjustment may cause the traction control
computer to fail resulting in poor performance and
unsafe handling.
REAR LIFT INSTALLATION
Installation is best performed using a two-post vehicle
lift with safety jacks. Use a jack if a vehicle lift is not
available.
1. Park the vehicle on a clean FLAT surface such as
a concrete or asphalt surface.
2. Set the steering wheel so that the wheels are
straight.
3. Engage the parking brake, then chock the front
wheels for safety.
4. Disconnect power at the ground terminal on the
battery.
5. Raise the rear of the vehicle using a jack and
place jack stands under the frame of the vehicle
in front of the rear wheels.
6. Carefully lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.
7. Use a lug wrench or impact wrench with an
inmpact socket to remove the rear wheels/tires.
8. Remove the sway bar by removing the bolt and
nut from the lower end and retain all hardware.
9. Remove the bracket that holds the brake line
against the frame and retain all hardware.
10. Remove the lower shock bolt and retain all
hardware. It may be necessary to use a jack and
apply slight upward pressure at the center of the
axle to relieve pressure on the shock absorber
and to prevent the axle from dropping when the

11. Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle by
removing the upper shock bolts.
12. Carefully lower the axle then remove the jack
from under the vehicle.
13. Remove the coil spring and coil spring isolator
and set them aside
14. Drop the Rear Spacer Washer ⑥ into the
recessed seat above spring coil pearch on the
frame.
15. Place a a 1/2”-13 x 2-3/4” Bolt ⑭ into the
protruding end of a Rear Lifting Spacer ②.

16. Thread the bolt through the spring coil pearch and
into the nut on the Rear Spacer Washer.
17. Place the spring isolator onto the protruding end
of the Rear Lifting Spacer.
18. Reinstall the coil spring. Note: it may be necessary to compress the spring. Use a pair of coil
spring compressors while following the coil spring
compressor safety guidelines and instructions.
19. Once the coil spring is installed, rotate the spring
until the end of the spring sits against the spring
stop.
20. Use the Rear Shock Bracket ④ along with two
M10-1.5 x 80 Bolts ⑬ at the top of the shock
absorber and to install the shock onto the upper
shock mount.
21. Use a jack and apply slight upward pressure at
the center of the axle to align the hole on the
bottom the shock absorber to hole in the bottom
shock mount. Use the retained hardware and
secure in place.
22. Carefully lower the axle then remove the jack
from under the vehicle.
23. Use one of the Brake Line Extenders ⑤ and use
the retained hardware to mount the extender to
the frame.Leave the bolt loose.
24. Use one Washer ⑨ under the head of a 1/4”-20 x
1” Bolt ⑦, and mount the brake line to the Brake
Line Extender using another Washer ⑨ under the
1/4”-20 Nut ⑧.
25. Tighten the bolts on the Brake Line Extender to
the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended torque.
26. Repeat steps 8 through 25 for the other side.
27. Re-install the wheels/tires and tighten the lug nuts
to the manufacturer’s recommended torque.
28. Raise the rear of the vehicle using a jack and
remove the jack stands.
29. Lower the vehicle so that it is resting on the
ground, and remove the jack.
30. After the vehicle is on the ground, install the sway
bar links using the retained hardware.DO NOT
INSTALL THE SWAY BAR WHILE VEHICLE IS

RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE
•
Before operating your vehicle, check that all fasteners
are tightened to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended torque.
•
Test the brake system to ensure there are no leaks or
loss of pressure.
•
After installation, operate the vehicle in an area
without traffic for five miles. Pay close attention to the
suspension system, vehicle handling, check for any
abnormal vibrations and listen for any strange noises.
If the vehicle has any abnormality, stop the vehicle
immediately then troubleshoot and fix the cause of
abnormality.
•
Check and adjust the headlight aim after installation.

Have your vehicle aligned to factory specifications
by a certified alignment center professional before
driving.
Check the clearance on all newly assembled parts
and on the vehicle.
Ensure any oversized tires will not rub while in
operation or when the steering wheel is turned to its
maximum positions, both left and right.
Check that all fasteners are tightened to the vehicle
manufacturer’s recommended torque after every 500
miles (800 km).
Have your vehicle suspension inspected by a professional mechanic after every 3000 miles (4800 km).

90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
Star Asia-USA, LLC (hereinafter “seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that this product will be free from
defects in material or workmanship for a period of 90 days from date of purchase for home domestic use.
Warranty Performance
Warranty coverage is conditioned upon purchaser furnishing seller or its authorized service center with adequate
written proof of the original purchase date. Products returned, freight prepaid and insured, to our factory or to an
Authorized Service Center will be inspected and repaired or replaced, at seller’s option, free of charge if found
to be defective and subject to warranty. Defective parts not subject to normal wear and tear will be repaired or
replaced, at our option during the above stated warranty periods. In any event, reimbursement is limited to the
purchase price paid. Other than the postage and insurance requirement, no charge will be made for repairs or
replacements covered by this warranty. Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer bear any responsibility for
loss of the unit, loss of time or rental, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential damages, There are no
warranties which extend beyond the description of the face hereof.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover parts damaged due to normal wear, abnormal conditions, misapplication, misuse,
abuse, accidents, operation at other than recommended pressures or temperatures, improper storage of freight
damage. Parts damaged or worn by operation in dusty environments are not warranted. Failure to follow recommended operating and maintenance procedures also voids warranty. Additional items not covered under warranty:
product failure caused by rain, excessive humidity, corrosive environments or other contaminants; cosmetic
defects that do not interfere with product’s functionality. This warranty shall not apply when: the product has been
used for commercial or rental purposes; defects in materials or workmanship or damages result from repairs or
alterations which have been made or attempted by others or the unauthorized use of nonconforming parts; this
damage is due to abuse, improper maintenance, neglect or accident; or the damage is due to use of the product
after partial failure or use with improper accessories. Warranty does not apply to accessory items. Seller will not
be liable for: labor charges, loss or damage resulting from improper operation, maintenance or repairs made by
persons other than a Star Asia-USA, LLC Authorized Service Center. The use of other than genuine Star AsiaUSA, LLC repair parts will void warranty.

AS STATED ABOVE. STAR ASIA-USA, LLC SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL,

A BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, SHALL
