Improve the way you commu
The elite Panaboard makes every meeting and presentation more eye-catching, more effective and more active.
The elite Panaboard UB-T880/UB-T880W is an entirely new kind of electronic whiteboard that uses a
projector* to display PC images onto its surface and lets the presenter operate the data on the board
with an electronic pen that works like a PC mouse. It adds an exciting visual element to meetings
that used to be all talk and few pictures and brings rich, paperless expression to presentations that
previously depended on stacks of paper handouts.
* UB-T880 and UB-T880W do not include a PC and a projector.
Operate with a Finger or the Electronic Pen
Multi Touch Operation
Seamless “Writing and Controlling”
Dynamic Image Control
Can be performed with the touch of a finger and your
finger’s movement is relayed directly to the board surface
for smooth, comfortable operation. Or you can use the
handy Electronic Pen for writing characters and drawing
lines. This enables seamless writing and object operation.
Images can be easily moved, scaled and rotated with
your fingers making presentations more interesting,
dynamic and interactive.
*Zoom in / Zoom out
Windows 7 (32-bit/64-bit) only.
Windows 7 (32-bit/64-bit) only.
* The elite Panaboard detects a change in
electrostatic capacitance when touched
by your finger. For this reason, it may not
react to fingernails, gloved hands, etc
* When using Windows 7 and applications that support multitouch.
Simultaneous Operation by Up to Three People Ink Note
Get Your Colleagues Involved
Because up to three points can be simultaneously
operated, a team of three individuals can work together
on the same task. For example, three people can work
together on a presentation or demonstration.
Easily Save Information Written on
the Board
You can insert images and text into
Microsoft® Word, Excel®, or PowerPoint® using elite
Panaboard Software.

the versatility to share audio. Use either sound effects
or video with audio to help to attract your audience’s
attention and make your presentations more effective.
You can use the Electronic Pen to switch between four
marker colours and the eraser tool, and do things like
remotely turn PowerPoint® pages. This helps to keep the
audience’s attention because you don’t need to stop the flow
of the meeting. Power LED

Easy Remote Control
Make Your Meetings More Effective
With the optional Wireless Kit, there is no need for a
cable to connect the computer and the board. This also
allows more flexible meeting room layouts.
The elite Panaboard is equipped with two additional
USB ports. This allows you to connect additional
devices to enhance your meetings, such as a desktop
info camera, or even a printer, without using up the
necessary resources in your PC.
* When using a large amount of data, like when playing motion images with audio,
the sound or display may be interrupted.
Smooth Meetings Even at a Distance
A Remote Conferencing System
Using the elite Panaboard
You can easily configure a remote conferencing system
using a Panasonic network camera, an IP Conference
Phone and a PC, together with an existing phone line and
Internet connection. By adding the elite Panaboard to this
system, you can e-mail images from the board to people
in other locations, for quick and easy information sharing.

selection. It can be constantly displayed on the board,
ready for use at any time.
Easy Data Input
Screen Keyboard
Display this keyboard on
the elite Panaboard, then
simply press the keys. In
addition to text, you can
enter numbers into Excel
or other applications, and
make corrections right on
the board without having
to use a PC and without
taking valuable time away
from the meeting.
Attract Viewers’ Attention
This tool lets you shine a
spotlight on part of the screen.
It’s an effective way to attract the
viewers’ attention to
a particular place on the board.
Enlarge and Display Small Details
You can enlarge small
details like tiny characters
or photos for easier
viewing. When you have
meetings with a large
number of people, this
lets you enlarge important
parts of the image so people far from the board can
see them clearly.
Create Materials with Panasonic Tools
“elite Panaboard book”
The “elite Panaboard book” consists of a set of tools that were
developed by Panasonic. You can use them to create and save
presentation materials. Choose from a wide variety of arrows,
graphics, and illustrations to liven up your meetings.
Quickly Save Screen Images as Data
Screen Capture
This function lets you
capture the images on
the elite Panaboard and
save them as electronic
data. You can save the
data in either of three
formats, bmp, jpg, or tif, and distribute it as an e-mail
A Handy Bookmark Function
Use the Attachment function to make and store shortcuts to
materials you have prepared with the elite Panaboard book
and files you want to use, or links to Internet URLs. Having
these information sources at your fingertip will make your
presentations go like clockwork.
Save Meetings in Motion Image Form
Use Familiar Software
PowerPoint Mode
This is a handy way to record
meetings for later review. By
connecting a microphone to
the PC, you can also record
voices simultaneously.
Recording Selection
You can use your PowerPoint
application right on the elite
Panaboard, so you no longer
have to operate a second PC
separately. Plus, once you’ve
started up the PowerPoint
application, you can make notes to each slide for a smoother,
more effective presentation.
The elite Panaboard Can Change Your Business.
Active Opinion Exchanges _ elite Meeting
• When good opinions came up, they couldn’t be added to the
documents during the meeting.
• When new information was required for the meeting, an Internet
search had to be done on a separate PC, which was time-consuming.
• Because everyone was busy taking notes, they couldn’t concentrate
on the meeting itself. Distributing paper documents also took time, and
new information was hard to share.
• We can instantly add notes to the meeting materials on the elite
Panaboard and save the results electronically without having to stop
the meeting.
• We can show Internet searches* right on the elite Panaboard, so
everyone sees the information immediately.
• The board content can be instantly saved as electronic data and
shared by e-mail or other means.
*PC with Internet access is required
A meeting without the elite Panaboard
More Efficient, More Effective _ elite Presentation
• Participants had to continually look back and forth between a handful
of paper documents and the board, so they weren’t able to concentrate
on the board content.
• If the timing wasn’t just right between the person operating the PC and
the person making the presentation, the participants lost interest.
• All presentations tended to look the same, and it was difficult to find
ways to hold everyone’s attention.
• Everything for the presentation -- text, graphs, and images -- is displayed
on the board. This allows participants to focus only on the board.
• The PC can also be operated from the board with an electronic pen or
by finger touch, so there is no time lost and presentations move along
smoothly at the presenter’s own pace.
• Functions like the Screen Shade, which lets you hide part of the screen
and then dramatically reveal it, and the Magnifier, which enlarges small
or detailed parts, help to keep everyone interested.

Limits to Simultaneous Operation
-The UB-T880 series can detect up to 3 spots at the same time. Touching more than 3 spots at the same time can result in erroneous operation.
-During operation, avoid touching spots other than where you are working. The UB-T880 series detects where the board is touched. Erroneous operation can occur in the following situations:
-Performing operations while leaving your hand on the screen board.
-Performing operations with your finger while another part of your hand is touching the screen board.
-Performing operations while the hand that was holding the pen is still touching the screen board.
-Do not touch a spot that is close to where you are operating. If you touch a spot that is close to where you are operating, it might be detected as 1 spot.
-When the Electronic Pen and your finger are used simultaneously, the elite Panaboard can not recognise them separately. Wait 1 second or more when changing between your finger and the Electronic Pen. When changed in a shorter time or
when the Electronic Pen and your finger touch simultaneously, the result depends on which one the elite Panaboard recognised first.
