Circuit and Ground
The Input/Output Module should have
a dedicated line with hot, neutral, and
isolated ground in its own conduit.
Connect the conduit from the
distribution panel to the receptacle.
Three-wire distribution to the
receptacle is required for each
instrument. Connect the third (green)
ground wire from the distribution panel
to the receptacle in accordance with
NEC paragraph 250-74, exception 4,
unless local codes prohibit. The
ground wire should not be tied to
grounds from other loads.
Leakage current is less than or equal
to 500 mA. This is measured
according to procedure EN61010-1.
The StreamLAB® Analytical Workcell
requires an external source of
compressed air supplied at 65 NL/min
@ 7 bar (2.3 scfm @ 100 psi.).
Connect the air supply system to the
air inlet fitting of the I/O Module. A
shutoff valve and pressure gauge
should be accessible near the
workcell.

Room temperature must be 65–85°F
(17–30°C) with a maximum fluctuation
of 5°F (2.8°C) per hour.

Maintain between 20% and 80%

FCC Compliance
The StreamLAB® Analytical Workcell
will be installed by a qualified
representative of Siemens. The
installation will include checkout of all
aspects necessary to ensure the
equipment is fully operational.
This device complies with Part 15 of
the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following conditions:
Preventive Maintenance Frequency
Four Siemens service preventive
maintenance visits per year for the
StreamLAB® Analytical Workcell.
Multiple pieces of equipment can be
maintained during a single visit.
1. This device may not cause harmful
interference.
2. This device must accept any
interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
Barcode Scanner
The StreamLAB® Analytical Workcell
barcode reader is a Class II laser and
is a possible eye hazard.
