Avid recommends that you read all the information in this document
thoroughly before installing any software.
These drive striping tables are for specific Avid releases prior to
September 2000. The supported Avid® releases for the Macintosh®
systems and Windows NT® systems are identified in each section. As new
MediaDrive enclosures, MediaDock Shuttle™ packs, and MEDIArray™
Fibre Channel drives are qualified, this document will be updated.
Avid supports several families of MediaDrive enclosures,
MediaDock Shuttle packs, and MEDIArray Fibre Channel drives. Table 1
lists the families, their specifications, and their available storage capacities.

striping increment.

The SCSI LVD controller board, MediaDrive rS LVD enclosures, and
LVD MediaDock Shuttle packs are supported on Windows NT
systems with Symphony Release 2.x, Media Composer Release 9.x,
Film Composer Release 9.x, and Avid Xpress Release 3.x or later.

Avid recommends that users of Symphony Releases 1.0 and 1.1,
Media Composer Release 8.0, and Avid Xpress Releases 2.0 and 2.1
