Guide to vTuner on CDE-135BT
Prerequisites: The vTuner for Alpine must be installed to an iPhone 4 or higher on
iOS 5 or higher.
(1) Launch – vTuner for Alpine
Please connect iPhone/iPod touch to Internet via 3G in advance of using 'vTuner
for Alpine'
Launch 'vTuner for Alpine' application on the iPhone.
Change the source to vTuner at your CDE-135BT using the
key.
If the vTuner source is not available, press the BAND/F/R key to switch the USB
port between FRONT and REAR.
Should the vTuner source still not be available, vTuner was de-activated in the
setup menu. Press and hold AUDIO/ SETUP for at least 2 seconds to
activate the SETUP mode.
Turn the Rotary encoder to select iPod and USB, and then press
. Select
VTUNER from the menu and select ON.

(2) Playback
To Pause playback, press
. Pressing
again will resume playback.
(3) Searching for a desired station
(1) Press
to activate the search mode
(2)Turn the Rotary encoder to select “FAVORITES”, and then press
.
The “FAVORITES” search mode is activated and the stored station
names are listed. The
indicator lights up at this time.
(3) Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired station, and then
press
.
vTuner will play that station and the indicator will light up.
Search by other modes:
vTuner provides you many ways to search a station, such as by Genre,
Location, etc. And some search categories may include many search
hierarchies.
(1) Press
to activate the search mode.
(2) Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired search category, and
then press
.

(3) Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired subcategory/station
within the selected category, and then press
.
(4) After step (3) if the
indicator still lights up, repeat step (3) until
the desired station is searched.
(4) Storing a desired station to Favourite List
Press when the station you want to store is broadcasting.
The indicator will light up after the station is added to the Favourite
List successfully.
FAIL will be displayed if the station fails to be added to Favourite List
or while the Favourite List is full when you want to add station to it.
(5) Jumping to a Favourite Station
During vTuner playback, press any of preset buttons (1 through 6).
The relevant station (1 through 6) stored in the Favourite List begins to
broadcast and the indicator lights up.
Notes
• Preset 1 to 6 are stations stored in the Favourite List in order of 1~6.
• You can also choose a stored station from FAVORITES search in
search mode.
(6) Deleting a stored station from Favourite List
(1) Tune to a stored (favourite) station.
When a stored (favourite) station is broadcasting, the indicator will
light up.
(2) Press .
The indicator will go off after the station is deleted from Favourite
List.
