Erogazione PoE intelligente
La funzionalità di Intelligent PoE permette di erogare alimentazione in due modi: “classification mode”
e “consumption mode”. Nella modalità Consumption i GS1920 in versione PoE erogano automaticamente
la quantità di energia effettivamente richiesta dall’apparato connesso, permettendo addirittura di
impostare le priorità di erogazione sulle diverse porte per ottimizzare ulteriormente i consumi energetici.
Questa funzionalità permette di aumentare il numero di apparati PoE connessi ed ottenere un miglior
ritorno dell’investimento. Inoltre, supportano anche lo standard IEEE 802.3at su tutte le porte, riuscendo ad
erogare fino ad un massimo di 30 Watt per porta, su un totale complessivo di capacità erogabile di 375
Watt: ciò permette in sostanza di collegare apparati ad alto consumo quali telecamere IP o Access Point,
insieme ad apparati a basso consumo.
Robust network availability
I malfunzionamenti della rete sono uno dei principali grattacapi per le piccole e medie aziende.
Siano essi causati da errori interni o attacchi esterni, gli switch della serie GS1920 proteggono gli utenti
dai malfunzionamenti della rete grazie a varie funzioni chiave. Loop Guard aiuta la rete ad evitare
malfunzionamenti causati dai loop, IP Source Guard (IPSG) protegge dagli attacchi MAC e ARP. CPU
Protection permette alla rete di funzionare anche sotto attacchi quali BPDU, ARP e IGMP. Inoltre,
la funzione di Dual Firmware Image & Configuration aumenta di molto l’affidabilità generale.
Queste sono solo alcune delle molte feature che la serie GS1920 mette a disposizione delle piccole
e medie aziende per garantire l’affidabilità della rete.

La serie GS1920 integra varie funzioni di sicurezza e protezione degli accessi facilmente configurabili.
Ad esempio Intrusion Lock rileva lo stato delle connessioni e garantisce la sicurezza delle porte.
La serie GS1920 supporta anche lo standard di autenticazione 802.1X via RADIUS e può monitorare,
