If the safety barrier is used
at the bottom of the stairs,

Pre-install the gate and the wall cups into the desired position.
Cut the plastic cable tie

Ensure the gap
below 3 mm

Ensure that the gap is sufficient to allow the lock
to operate smoothly.

that the gap is less
than 1mm and
hand cog regularly
to ensure the lock
is secure.

Please use the spanner to install the gate securely.

Note: The gate should not move when the button is pressed. Further backward or forwards
adjustment of the top wall cup on the lock side may be required if this happens.
Check that the lock operates, and the
gate opens and closes correctly.

The position of the top wall cup on the lock side may need
to be adjusted backwards or forwards so that the gate and
frame are perfectly aligned as per the above image.
Adjust the vertical alignment by following the images above.

Check that the gap between the handle
and the lock is less than 1mm and the
gate operates smoothly.

Cut the plastic
cable tie after
final adjustment.

With the gate still installed, mark round the
wall cups (C) with a pencil.
Remove the gate and line up the wall
cups (C) with the marks on the walls.
Mark the screw position onto the wall.

Secure the wall cups (C) in
place using screws (A) provided
or suitable screws.
Drill pilot holes for the screws if fitting into
the door frame or holes for the wall plugs
using the correct size drill and fitting for
the wall construction.

Please follow steps
1-6 to install the gate
ready for use paying
close attention to
steps 3-6.
The gate is closed
only when there is
a "click" sound and
the red mark is not
visible on the lock
anymore and the
bottom lock has
engaged. You must
ensure that the gate
is full locked afer
each use and before
walking away.
The gate
could stay open
at the maximum
position.
Attention! You will need to keep the spanner (K) for
future adjustment of gate.
