Frequently asked questions

The ACS 2000 can be used with the following gauges: PIRANI gauge (AP 2004 - APN 2004), Combined PIRANI/Cold cathode gauge (ACC 2009), Combined CRYSTAL/Hot cathode gauge (AHC 2010), and Capacitive gauges (ASD 200X series, ARD 200X series).

The ACS 2000 is specifically designed to work with the gauges listed in the manual. Using incompatible gauges may not work properly or could damage the device.

You can adjust the pressure set points (SP1 and SP2) through the controller's settings menu. Each set point has two thresholds: SP-xH (high) and SP-xL (low). The set point opens when the pressure goes below the low threshold and stays open until the pressure crosses the high threshold.

The gas correction factor is used to adjust the pressure reading for gases other than nitrogen (N2). It affects both the pressure readout and the switching thresholds of the set points.

The ACS 2000 has a built-in RS232 interface. Use a standard RS232 cable to connect it to your computer. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions on RS232 communication and available commands.
