Frequently asked questions

Connect the power supply unit to the cradle and place the scanner on the cradle. The status indicator will turn steady red if the battery is not fully charged. When the battery is fully charged, the status indicator will flash green at regular intervals. Please charge the new battery pack for 8 hours prior to the first use.

The scanner offers several radio link modes: PAIR mode for one-to-one connection with the smart cradle, PICO mode for multiple connections to a smart cradle, HID mode for functioning as a Bluetooth keyboard, and SPP master/slave mode for acting as a serial input device.

Scan the "Enable Out-of-range Scanning" command. This allows the scanner to continue scanning barcode data while it is out of working range, storing the data in the memory buffer until the radio link is resumed.

Scan the "Enter Batch Scanning" command to activate this function. All scanned barcode data will be stored into the memory storage, and the status indicator will give green blinks during batch scanning. You can scan and store data until the memory storage is full. To terminate the batch scanning, scan the "Exit Batch Scanning" command.

The scanner is preset to scan the "Transmit Stored Data" command to transmit all stored data. You can also transmit the data by placing the scanner onto the cradle. You can configure the scanner to delete the stored data after transmission or keep it. Scan the "Clear All Stored Data" command to delete all stored data.
