To join a blind to a group, first press and hold the STOP button on the remote until the indicator lights blink (approximately 6 seconds). Then, press the desired group number (1-6) on the remote. While pressing the programming button on the blind, press the ▲ OPEN button on the remote. The green light will flash once, and the blind will move slightly to indicate it has joined the group. Release the programming button and then press and hold STOP on the remote until the indicator lights stop blinking (approximately 6 seconds).

The calibration reset is used to recalibrate the slat’s travel limits. To perform a calibration reset, press and hold the programming button for approximately 6 seconds. The blind will move slightly and then release the programming button. The light will flash red, and the blind will tilt fully in one direction to set the first limit. Then it will tilt in the opposite direction to set the second limit. The slats will move slightly one more time to indicate the travel limits have been reset.

The Kirsch Alternative Woods Tilt Automation offers both inside and outside mounting options. Inside mounts allow you to install the blind within the window opening, while outside mounts allow for installation outside the window opening on a flat vertical surface.
