How do I mount the hub on the shaft?

Mount the hub on the shaft of the driven side and the SD hub on the shaft of the driving side. Make sure the distance dimension E is observed to allow for axial clearance of the spider when in operation.

What are the maximum permissible bore diameters?

The maximum permissible bore diameters D must not be exceeded. If these figures are disregarded, the coupling may tear. Rotating particles may cause danger to life.

How do I inspect the slip ring for damages?

Before every lubricating process the slip ring has to be inspected for damages (visual inspection). It must be possible to manually rotate the SD hub freely in the slip ring.
